3rd Person POV
Ian, Melanie, Corin, and Brian all take a 3 week getaway to Paris and London for Christmas vacation. It's about 11pm. Corin and Brian have went to bed, and Melanie and Ian are in the living room watching french television. Ian savors this moment. The warm fire trickling. The light snow falling outside. Melanie's sillhouette less than 2 feet away from him, looking gorgeous as ever. He cant help but smile. A warmness takes over him. He could honestly stay here for his whole life, on the couch like that with Mel by his side for the rest of eternity. He begins to cry. The joy inside has convinced himself. Ian looks over to Mel, lovingly, and says "Marry me, Melanie?" "Hmm... What?" She was distracted from the singer on TV. Ian's grin goes from ear to ear as he takes her hand. "Melanie Moat, would you marry me?" Shes in a shock and cannot move. Her lips slowly tug into a smile. "Yes Ian" .They share a passionate kiss and cuddle on the couch for the rest of the night.
