The beginning

Maddie! Maddie! Linda called out loud.

Let's go summit our advanced maths assignment before Mr kil kills us .

Mr kil's real name was keshri but we call him kill because his always like," I will kill you if you don't do this is that".

I have already forgotten to summit the assignment not until Linda called me. Linda has been my very close friend though not as close as Elijah who has been my best friend since 3rd grade till now.

9th grade is a lot to handle without a friend especially one like Linda. I can't wait for the exams coming soon I will finally be out of middle school then straight to high school. I hear high school is a lot more fun.

In three years time bum into college, OK that's enough thinking for today.Its too much work thinking.

"look there's a new girl in school " said Linda.

Let's meet her, it's normal to be excited about new peeps to me I'm just too friendly,

Hi my name is Maddie and mine is Linda, we looked at each other and smiled expecting a reply from the new girl but instead she frowned looked left and right, turned back and went inside the class.

What? How Rude? Where the only words I could alter, I caught my breathe and said I can't believe she just worked out on us, me too said Linda,

what a? I knew that look, Linda is about to throw an insult and I have to cut in, OK that's enough I said trying to calm Linda and both myself down.

How can she be so rude?, who does she think she is? , A new girl after all. OK, OK Linda let's just head back to class.

This session was a new one I have promised myself not to insult any one even if they still what is precious to me. In a class of 25 students I knew it won't be easy to make first of all. Most especially with the likes of James, ken, vile, bolt and so many others. To grade myself I think I will be coming the 7th in class and Linda 19th.

Linda wasn't this kind of a smart person in academy. As a matter of fact that is why she is scared to go for the science class.

Though Art has always been her dream. She would always choose the occupation of an actress over any other one.

I have made up my mind to be a psychologist right from when I was eight years old.I have this thing in me that wants to read out people's problems and solve it.

I can't see some one with a problem crying and just pass by will always want to sit you down talk to you and help you out. My mum said it has been in me right from birth too. So I believe I have chosen the right career.

Linda didn't like the topic of career because she had dreamt to become an actress ever since but her dad has this problem with it.

Any time she says that she want to be an actress she makes sure her dad isn't close to her because he will reply that it was the reason she takes almost last in class.

This makes Linda feel bad and angry. Some parent have that sterotypic idea on particular occupations which is awful because I believe one should proudly and passionately choose what they want to be.

Mum I'm back, my mum was in the kitchen cooking lunch I looked around and my eyes caught an unexpected visitor, immediately my heart flipped, it was Elijah.

Hey, he said came over to have lunch with you hope you don't mind.

My words were stacked and mouth wide open, well this is surprising.I didn't trust myself I kept pleading within me not to embarrass myself and just speak but I was too shocked to say a word.
