I sat down on a squeaky wooden chair in the Institution's cafeteria. It's lunch time and I'm not in the mood to eat. To mention, the food here is terrible and I can't eat with other people around me.

I pulled out my sketch pad and pencil from my brown duffel bag. "Since I can't eat, why not waste time by doing something productive?" I thought. So, I gripped on my pencil, balancing its weight on my hands, and tried to focus on interesting things.

All I can see are patients eating corn soup. I looked to the right, still nothing interesting. Just a mental-disordered man running away from his nurse which actually happens here everytime.

Now, I turned to the left. I noticed something different. Maybe I'm just hallucinating, but it looks really real.

There's a new patient. And he's a guy. He's sitting alone at the table at the back.

I stared at him for a while.

He's brunette, wearing green sweatshirt and brown pants. He looks like my age but a little older than I am.

I noticed something again.

There's something on his table that doesn't look like a food. It's thin and flat, like a paper. I looked closely.

It is a paper! Good thing it's only a paper. I sighed.

I think he's holding something on his right hand.

A pencil. And he's scribbling something.. more like sketching.

"Sida, you must be hallucinating!" I screamed in my mind. I am not hallucinating. That's one thing I'm sure for now.

The guy stopped sketching and looked directly at me. He must've noticed I've been staring at him for a while.

I looked down on my sketch pad. His blue eyes keep on picturing in my mind.

I took a quick glance at the boy, but he wasn't looking anymore. I exhaled with relief.
