King (Human)
Despite being king, he is, in a word, 'disgusting'. His eating alone could feed several families, and he's constantly drenched in sweat for unknown reasons. In addition, his clothes are needlessly extravagant, he wears too many solid gold necklaces and he's quick to anger.
As evidenced by his son, if he exercised more and dressed more frugally, he might be able to pass as a 'wise king': as it stands, however, despite his beautiful blond hair and green eyes, he strikes disgust into the hearts of the people.
Since there have been many Heroes, he knows a thing or two about 'vidya gaemes', though it's limited to what the Heroes have told him. He possesses the unique ability to understand things only when explained in terms of things that interest him, such as martial arts tournaments.
His recent worries include 'the monster who strikes fear into the hearts of even the strongest Heroes'.
~Goddesses~
Entropy (Goddess of Darkness)
The world's Goddess of Darkness and Astaroth's love interest. Entropy has white hair longer than she herself is, and her skin, too, is entirely white. Her eyes are rainbow-coloured, and just like Astaroth, she has pointy ears. Her face carries no expression to the point she's incapable of even blushing and her voice, too, has no intonation, but despite this, Astaroth can read her like an open book, especially now that he's gained the ability to discern her emotions from the movements of her ears.
Despite her status as a goddess, she's rather shy, so much so she generally doesn't speak long sentences without inserting breaks in places they don't belong.
She wears a dress 'as if made out of darkness'--actually, it's just black--which is longer than she is. As a result, it covers her hands up to her fingertips and, just like her hair, when she's standing on the ground, it piles up at her feet. Neither her dress nor her hair is capable of getting dirty, so she doesn't mind.
Although she hasn't really displayed her power as a goddess, her Aspect has allowed her to hide her 'shrine' in darkness, preventing people from seeing inside from the outside. Of course, inside the room, you can see like normal.
She seems to like pudding and other sweet things despite having no need to eat. Perhaps it's the act of Astaroth feeding her that causes her to enjoy it?
For unknown reasons, she appears to be missing many parts of herself.
Luciel (Goddess of Light)
The world's Goddess of Light. Despite such an ability not typically falling under 'light', she seems to possess the ability to reincarnate souls whole, rather than in pieces like they normally would. She uses this power to take presumably dead or dying humans from earth and reincarnate them into Heroes, though the exact procedure is unknown as of now. On every Hero, she places a piece of her power called an 'Azalyth', which steers their thoughts in certain directions and, given enough time, will brainwash them entirely.
Despite being a goddess, she curses like a sailor when she's on her own. Around her believers, she puts on an incredibly fake archaic tone.
She doesn't seem to be the most talented when it comes to planning things out, but it appears--at least according to GAME's analysis--she possesses bucketloads more power than Entropy.
Gnome (Goddess of Earth)
The world's Goddess of Earth, who created the dwarves and many earth-elemented monsters. Unlike the mother figure you might expect, Gnome is a child with wheat-brown skin and hair and eyes like dirt. Fundamentally, her dress is similar to Entropy's, except it is brown rather than black. Of course, this means it is even more oversized on her. Just like Entropy, she has pointy ears. As she is like a child in many ways, she is excitable and prone to extreme emotions. For reasons incomprehensible to those around her, she feels the monsters she created, especially Goblins, famed for their ugliness, are rather cute. As a result, she was extremely agitated when the Heroes went to exterminate them.
Although her general situation is unknown, she seems close with another goddess, and she is missing at least a small fragment of her divinity, as she has given it to Astaroth.
Undine (Goddess of Water)
The world's Goddess of Water, who created the mer-people and many water-elemented monsters. Not much is known about her, but she seems to be helping the Ice Queen in scheming to overthrow Astaroth. She has been described as 'fickle'.
Salamander (Goddess of Fire)
The world's Goddess of Fire, who created the drakonids and many fire-elemented monsters. Not much is known about her.
Sylph (Goddess of Air)
The world's Goddess of Air, who created the elves and many air-elemented monsters. Not much is known about her.
With that, I will be attempting to start part 2 next week.
Please look forward to it.
