Loki's Maiden

Prologue

It was a regular day in Asgard. A young Loki was reading under a tree where young Thor was sword fighting with a young girl who's laugh could make angels jealous. Loki would never tell her this seeing that they were only 9. Thor was 'defeated' yet again. (Y/n) happily sat down next to Loki and started reading her favorite book (f/b) she hummed quietly to her-self. Loki tried to listen to her but his brother's yelling was all he could hear. Loki stood up and afford a hand to (y/n). She Grabbed his hand and was pulled upward. She slightly giggled as she was held in Loki arms a thing she dreamed about. He let go shortly after giving his brother a glare. He again grabbed her hand and walked away from Thor. He was hoping for some quiet time with (y/n). She was always some where loud and chaotic.

"Loki are you taking me to the library?"

She always knew what his thoughts were before he spoke them.

"Yes (y/n) I am."

More giggles.

"Loki?"

"Hmm?"

"Do you think I would make a great queen?"

"(y/n) you will be the best queen of (home/realm) their have ever had."

And of Asgard Loki said only in his thoughts. No matter what you would be queen Odin would command it. So (h/r) and Asgard would be at pace if anything where to happen. Loki knocked on wood. Gaining a questionly look form (y/n). Loki laughed a little and waved it off. (y/n) smiled it lightended her day knowing Loki was happy just being next to her and reading. Suddenly a (h/r) guard ran toward the pair.

"Princess we must get you and Prince Loki to All-father now."

"But Alex we were heading to the library."

"I am sorry (y/n) but it's Odin orders"

Loki and (y/n) plus Alex went to All-Father.

"Ah (y/n) I wish I could see you more it feels as if you grow each time I see you. I have sad news about your father's health. He is getting worse every day and wishes to see his daughter before he takes a long ride to (h/r/heaven)."

Only two tears roll out of (y/n) eyes before she ran to Odin for a hug which he knew was coming. He waited with open arms. She then let go and ran to Loki and hugged him even at a young age Loki did not know what to do. (y/n) wrapped his arms around her. He held her tight for wait seem like only a second before Odin coughed to let them know it was long enough. Their then walk to the garden to find Friga or All-Mother.

"Mom I am leaving soon."

(y/n) always called Friga mom no matter where their were. The worries in Friga eyes was widen when she saw (y/n)'s eyes in tears.

"Oh my I wish you could stay longer but I know your father has very little time and that step-mother of yours will send you to midgrad the minute she can. We will miss you."

"mother what do you mean?"

Loki never knew about the troubles you were facing at home you kept it to yourself. Never wanting to hurt anyone.

"it's OK Loki. " your smile told him you were lying. But her said nothing about it.

Two hours later you were packed and ready to go back but you don't want too. Four long hugs later and you were away to (h/r) by bifrost.
