As it turns out, the flight will only last an hour mindless of its distance.
And Asgar was a place where animals
can just cross and vanish, where trees were nothing but a silhouette and where the galaxy itself was free for viewing.

It was as if everything was translucent, intangible. And yet they all lived next to each other separated by thin lines in between.

"We call this the Nothingness. It's a space where Asgar resides in. "

Johannes said, walking at a steady pace alongside Kira. Me, following behind them.

"Where exactly is this Asgar?"

I asked, eyes roaming around curious of what's inside the Nothingness.

"No one knows, really. The Asgar is wherever the Nothingness wants to be. "

A vague answer. Kira was taking the lead this time, urging Johannes and I to go faster. Walking straight ahead as if she knew where we were heading.

From what it looks like, Asgaroth was built as a camp for all the lost souls.

Situated in the middle of nowhere, small fragments can be seen from both sides of the Nothingness here as the trees came by in a more tangible form, the animals unable to pass through as they will, and the galaxy seeming to be far away into the distance.

"Illusionary cheat. We use it for everyday purposes around here."

Kira said, heading straight in between of two poles holding together a sign.

Caedes

Inside Caedes were two-story buildings and the highest tower I've seen in my life. It's made of polished marble, with dozens of windows showing off a dozen or so people walking back and fort and some sitting in cubicles.

"Those, are the headquarters. Where we'll also be meeting with the director, the head of this place."

Kira's tone was different this time. Gone was the vibrant and carefree girl from before replaced with poker faced looks and a thin stretch of the mouth.

If I hadn't met her bubbly characteristics before, I would've been convinced she's always been like this.

She went inside the big double doors of their headquarters, Johannes following silently behind her.

Inside was a bustle of people going on and about, rows and rows of cubicles lined and dozens of telephone rings can be heard inside this chaos of an office.

No one paid us any mind as we walked along and past them, my school shoes tapping against glass floor.

Fifteen floors made quicker by the use of elevator (bless them) later, we were greeted with the sight of sunlight as the afternoon light crawled its way in, illuminating the posh marble floor and mahogany desk.

All around us was what looked to be an office space occupied by a single person only. The walls were beige and the floors carpeted, tall arch like windows were made of glass and made this whole place homey, yet professional.
