Chapter 1: Moving to a new home

"That's all of my stuff. Thank you very much Mito-san for letting me stay here. I promise I will help around here from now on"
"Don't worry Akira-kun, I hope we all get along. Your room is over here next to Chika's room" Mito-san replied and guided me to my new room
The room is quite spacious and clean. I unpacked all of my stuff and fixed the whole room. While cleaning, I heard a loud noise next to my room. I quickly went outside and checked the room without knocking.
"Hey are you alright!?"
A girl with around with my age with orange braided hair lying on the floor trying to get up
"Yeah I'm fine. Wait who are you?" The girl responded
"Oh umm..."
Mito-san interrupted carrying a foam she's going to bring in my room.
"Oh right, he's Akira-kun. He's the one I told you yesterday that will move and live along with us. Don't you remember?" Mito-san explained
"I see. I'm Chika Takami. Nice to meet you!" Chika introduced herself with energetic voice
"Nice to meet you too. But are you really okay? It seems like a big fall."
"Don't worry I'm fine. I already got used to it" Chika giggled. "You wanna walk around? Its still early anyway"
"But I have to finish fixing my room. Probably later"
"Don't worry, I'll fix it for you. You should probably join Chika-chan so that you can also look around here too." Mito-san interrupted
"You see? C'mon lets go!" Chika pulled me and brought me to the seashore close to the inn.
The sea is so beautiful and the weather feels nice. I feel like I'll never get tired of staring at it.
"This is the most visited spot here in our town. You just can't get enough how beautiful the sea is and it makes you feel at ease." Chika gently took a seat on the sand while staring at the water slowly waving to the shore.
"It really is beautiful" I took a seat next to her and tried to throw a rock to the water to make it hop.
"Chika-chan!" A girl in the distance called Chika. She has a short gray hair and a pair of glasses while carrying a small bag filled with paper.
"You-chan!" Chika responded and waved at her
"Its done Chika-chan! We can finally start campaigning for your club tomorrow!" The girl cheerfully handled the papers in her bag to Chika
"Thank you so much! We can finally start tomorrow for our club!" Chika replied to her
"By the way who's that?" She asked
"He's Akira-kun. He's our new family member and will stay at our house." Chika replied
"N-nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too. I'm You Watanabe, Chika-chan's classmate and best friend. Yousoro!~" You-san saluted
"By any chance are you the daughter of Captain Watanabe? A ship owner that took me here?"
"Yes, why?" She asked
"He's so cool and I learned a lot from him while we travel here."
"Ahahaha. My dad is usually like that and that's why everyone likes to sail with him" You-san replied
"By the way, what are you two talking about starting a club? I heard from Mito-san your school starts tomorrow"
"Oh right. We plan to make a school idol club at Uranohoshi high school right over to that mountain" Chika pointed out to a school at the top of the mountain.
"I see. Well, good luck with that. I hope you two succeed. I have to head back now to help Mito-san"
"Okay see you later!" Chika waved back

Being a school idol huh. I wonder if they will succeed on a place like this? Well, I guess I have to help and cheer them as much as I can.
