Chapter Three
“Anna.” My father said looking pissed. I look past my mom and dad. My mom was relieved that I was fine, my dad was pissed. Then I looked at Alpha Redwood, he was glaring at my dad.
“Alpha Redwood, That will be all.” I said to him, pleading for him to leave.
“Okay, just call. For anything.” He said looking like he didn’t want to leave, but he did what I asked.
Once he left my dad started up again. “Anna. How could you leave? And why in the hell did you come here?”
“I left, because I wanted to. I need to. I’m good and we know it. I wanted to find myself. And why here? It was supposed to just a night.” I told him. I wasn’t gonna back down when I could sense my mate in the next room.
“What’s wrong with you, Anna? And What is that smell?” She asked just about crying.
“I found my mate. I’m not leaving. I don’t care about his curse! And that smell is me. Thank you.” I said looking at her.
“Honey, what are you talking about you found your mate?” But as she said that I hear Alpha Redwood in my head. You know about my curse? and didn’t say anything?
“Mom. I found him. He is Alpha Redwood. I am not leaving him. I can’t. Now if you please. You can stay in here while I go talk to my mate.” As I said that I walked past them and to the door. I opened it and followed my mate’s smell, which was devine. He was in the room next to mine. I knocked on the door and then walked in and he had his head in his hands. I walked to him. I may not know anything about him but he is my mate and I love him already.I put my hands on either sides of his head as I kneeled down in front of him and kissed him.
“What was that for?” He asked.
“You needed it. Don’t be upset if you are fine with me being a witch I can handle my mate trying to kill me.” I said.
“Are you sure, Anna?” He asked as he searched my eyes.
“Yes, I’m sure. We are mates we will get through it. Plus we still have two and half days before your curse is activated.” I say as I pull him in for a hug and he wrapped his arms around me. We both need it. My wolf was grinning in happiness. I knew she didn’t like my parents, but to be with our mate and in his arms makes everything okay. Hugging him now after only really knowing him for a couple hours really didn’t matter because I knew I would do anything for him, and to be with him. Nothing could stop me from trying to break his curse without fully mating with him.
