It all started with a Curse

Chapter one: Finding out

CHapter One

"Anna Hunt?" I turned when I heard my name being called. I may have not recognized the voice but then again I just moved to this school. I saw this guy coming towards me, he was cute enough but other then that I don't see anything for him. He ran up to me and when he got there he said, "Anna, I need to talk to you about your family."

"What about my family?" I was adopted. I had no idea what family he was talking about. "You're Biological family. They had a curse on them. Or rather your dad's family did." He said. "Okay, what is this curse that you have to stop me from going to my class?"

"This curse all started back in the 1500s. Witches cursed your family, because they were trying to steal the witches magik. So the Witches' curse is that when your family has four girls in a row, the fourth girl will be a wolf. But she doesn't transform until she meets her mate." "Well what's a mate?" I asked, I was so confused. My foster parents are witches, I would of heard this story, but I haven't yet. My real mom was a witch.

"Wait, so if what you're saying is true then I'm a hybrid?"

"Yes, Anna. But you will be a werewolf. Talk to your parents. They know of this curse. Their family were the witches that put this curse on yours."

"No, my parents are good people. My family wouldn't be able to do that!" And with that I ran away. I couldn't believe he would say something like that about my parents. I'm not a hybrid and my parents are good people. I texted my mom and asked her to come pick me up. I couldn't handle staying in school after what that boy said. When my mom finally got there I walked to her car and sat in the passenger even though I know that it's not allowed.

"Anna." my mom said.

"Mom, please don't. I'm not in the mood."

"You may not be allowed to talk to me like that. Plus why are you not in the mood?"

"Is there a curse on the Hunt Family?"

"Yes, where did you hear about it?"

"A boy came to my school and told me about it. On top, of that he told me about the witches that cursed the family!"

"Honey, it wasn't like that. They were trying to steal our magik."

"They were humans isn't one of the laws is that we can't hurt or curse humans!"

"Yes, but that curse was before the law."

"Am I the daughter? Is that why you adopted me?"

"We adopted you, because we wanted you. When your mother asked if we wanted to adopt you, we loved you then. We didn't know that you were a Hunt until after you were born."

"Why didn't you tell me?!?"

"Because we didn't think that you were the forth until we contacted your father, he had a wife that had three girl then he cheated on her and had you. Your sister don't even know about you nor his wife. He asked me to keep it that way."

We were home by then. I got out and slammed my door. I was feeling worse than before. They lied to me and didn't tell me about my own curse. I got to my room and looked at everything. I had drawings of wolves everywhere. I had a blanket with a wolf howling at the moon. I liked wolves. Why didn't I notice this before. Witches are supposed to be enemies of wolves. Not me. Cause I'm a stupid hybrid. Why do I have to belike like this? I started to throw clothes in a suitcase. I wasn't going to stay here. That's when I got a text from a random number. The number was 1-208-515-2826. I knew it was an Idaho number, because the zip code was the same as mine.

The text message said Hey Anna, It's Ryan. The guy you ran from earlier today. I saw that you asked. Don't leave your family. There is a part of this curse that I think they need to tell you.
