the sweet sounds of classical music plays in the background while the shower water coated your entire body. when you finished the shower you wrapped a towel around you and stepped out of the bathroom.
as you were headed to your room you remembered you had left your phone in the bathroom, which was still playing music.
tonight you were going with finn to his apartment to hang out with him and his friends. you were extra nervous, not really because it would be the first time you'd be hanging out with a boy, but because tessa was gonna' be there and she hadn't been very considerate with talking to you.
when you walked back out of the the bathroom after retrieving your phone, you bumped into finn and fell down from the impact.
oh god, oh god, oh god. you could feel your face beginning to flush just thinking about the fact that you're in only a towel.
"oh my god y/n, i'm so sorry! i didn't even know you were in the shower," he exclaimed, a blush prominent on his face as well.
"it's fine i probably should've watched out," you murmured softly.
he put his hand out, which you took, and he lifted you back to your feet with ease. you don't know why, but you couldn't help but think about how his hands were really warm.
your hands stayed connected for a while longer until you both pulled away quickly and awkwardly.
"um.." finn began "are you exited for tonight?"
"yeah, but mostly nervous though," you tell him truthfully.
"well i'm excited, i really like being with you."
your heart was pounding really fast, did he just say that? no boy has ever talked to you like that. "i um- i have to get dressed," you say and rush to your room.
as soon as the door closes behind you you practically sink on your bed. finn makes your heart beat really fast sometimes and your cheeks blush a lot when you're around him. honestly, you really liked being around him too. you couldn't help but feel giddy just thinking about him. you let out a little girly squeal and go to your closet.
you decided to put in some effort tonight considering your new found fondness of finn. you pull out a pair of plaid high waisted pants and connect it with a belt. then you throw on a cropped white tank top and finish it with a black jean jacket. you put on your socks and combat boots and put on a necklace to complete your outfit.
you apply some lip gloss and mascara and throw the top half of your hair up into a small bun. (an: outfit in the little media thing at the top)
you make yourself downstairs and see finn standing against a wall on his phone. he was wearing a red and white button up shirt with black skinny jeans and an old pair of vans. your heart started beating really fast, as expected when you're around him.
he looks up and sees you, a small smile forming on his face. "you ready," he asks.
"mhm," you say walking past him towards the door. he places a hand on your lower back and opens the door for you. when he removes his hand you couldn't help but shiver.
you get in his car and think of all the things that could happen tonight.
