Ang POV : tomorrow is my birthday and I can't wait!! But I have to go to bed before my parents come to check on me . As I was sleeping peacefully I heard a loud BANG and I hurried to see what happened. Little did I know , I wasn't ready for the destruction that was standing before me . My parents stood tall and were shouting at them while two people had pointed it gun at them. I quickly hid behind a chair nearby. Who would wants theses people with weapons to catch you sneaking around? These people with smug faces watched as Dad scoffed saying "You two aren't part of the gang anymore- But before he could finish they aimed the gun at him and fiddled with the tigger until the bullet thrusted out of the gun and hit my Dad . I shot up from the chair and said " You have to leave . (Mom POV ) As I was left there, shocked , I saw my daughter and I examined her face . There was bravery in her eyes yet her fists and posture said otherwise . Her palms were squeeze together as if she was angry , but her stance was shaking . She was trembling. I don't want her here . She needs to leave! SHE HAS TO GO RUN AND DON'T COME BACK !!! I yelled out of pure frustration and fear . She turned back trembling ,Mom no ..... not until you promise that you'll be fine.... THAT YOUR BE OKAY!!! I wouldn't promise to you if I knew the truth . I ... promise " I remarked . Just .... go . A tear slipped from under my eye . The man near the right smirked and commanded the other man , Sweet, he snapped his fingers. Go after the little girl while I finish business with this lovely lady . ( Angeline POV ) As I ran and ran , I heard a few gunshots . Tears fled and they kept shooting bullets at me . But none of them hit my fragile body. After awhile, they scoffed and gave up . I went back to the house. A smell of smoke was nearby and my head mind automatically shifted towards the darker part of my head . What happened to mom ? .... I thought. I scurried home, but it was too late . The house was on fire, The smell of smoke filled the air and I couldn't see mom anywhere but I knew she was dead . Mom...... Dad .... I mumbled, I promise... I promise... I will find those guys and kill them for hurting us ... for hurting you guys... I promise
