///Chapter 2///

I stared into my lap nervously as the clock kept ticking. My heart slowed, but then Mason moved and it sped up again.

"Calm down"Mason said sitting back against the wall. "Everything will be fine" He said while looking at Tank.

Tank smiled at me awkwardly while Liam was texting. The room smelled like paper and wood, walls gray and dull. The floors were hardwood and clean, they smelled like wax.

Isabel kept stirring uncomfortably as the tension in the room thickened. I looked at my stomach and heard the heart beats.

Heart beats?

How the hell is it two heart beats, that can only mean tha-

"Ashlyn Woods?"A dark voice called out.

I looked up to see a man holding a pen and a notepad. He stared at me emotionlessly while Mason stood up.

"Alphas ready to speak with you" he said turning around, dissapearing down the narrow hallway.

Mason got up and Looked at me softly. "It will be alright, come " He said. We walked down the hallway in silence, the only sound was my rapid breathing.

I looked at the walls. Paintings of old wolfs stood on the rocks. Some pictures were pictures of Wolfs fighting or howling.

Then there was one picture that made me stop dead in my tracks, a chill going up my spine. There were two wolfs, standing on top of a  mountain.

One wolf, the girl, had a coat of pure white and icy blue eyes. She stood tall and confident, It was like she was staring straight through me, like I was glass, it was like she could see everything behind me. Every secret or lie I have ever made, it was like she knew.

Then, there was the other wolf, he had a dark grey coat, streaks of silver hidden and dark green eyes mixed with gray.

He stood proud, like a leader, he gave off the dont-mess-with-me look.

I dont know why I felt a connection with the painting, it just sparked my interest I guess. Mason was waiting patiently a few feet away from me, his gaze locked on the painting.

I walked to Mason and ignored the random chills going through my back as we neared the room.

I felt my wolf stand straight, giving full attention to the power radiating through the door.

I still have the power of a luna, but Im not considered one anymore. My heart stopped as they opened the door.

A Man stood behind the desk, fire in his eyes as I stepped inside . He smiled as I took a seat in front of him, Mason stood behind me in the left corner of the room.

He had dark coal eyes, and brown curly hair. His nose was narrow, probably due to the many fight he might've encountered. Muscles rippled through his shirt and he looked serious.

He stared at me, a wierd gaze in his eyes. He immediately looked towards my stomach and gulped before looking back at me.

"Why are you here?" he said.

There we go, the magic words.I would have to explain why im here, obviously pregnant, and why im not with Eric. I don't feel like talking right now.

"Well..Im Ashlyn Woods" I said, trying to loop around the question.

"We know that, I know you are mated to Eric woods, Alpha of the darkwoods pack, and your obviously pregnant"He said.

"Oh" I said fiddling with my fingers.
