The meeting just ended and everything went fine. I asked my secretary that I'm going to stay here for a week.
Sumakay na ako sa kotse ko and drove away, I went to the nearest resturant to eat lunch.
Once I ordered, kinuha ko yung phone ko and nagbasa pa ng mga Spanish sentences.
Kung mga Spaniards lang siguro yung nahuling sumakop sa Pilipinas, baka 2nd language natin yung Spanish. That would be cool.
I always liked to keep a low-profile. Kahit i-search yung CEO ngayon ng Luminous Hotel ay walang lalabas kundi yung mga picture ng hotel worldwide. So yeah, no one knows me, just the way I like it. Except sa mga employee ng company and also invertors.
Kahit nga ngayon eh, wala akong friends or even a boyfriend. I have no time for that and time will tell when.
My food just arrived and someone also arrived.
It's the man in the navy-blue suit in the elevator. And he's now wearing a black suit without a tie; looking handsome as usual. Wait what?
Dahil pang-2 seater and inuupuan ko, yung katabing isa pang 2 seater na table ay vacant so, doon siya umupo.
Hindi ko na siya tinignan pa dahil baka mahuli nanaman ako katulad last time. I just continued on eating.
I'm halfway done but someone suddenly laughed so loud. I'm not that curious so I just continued on eating but the laughing didn't stop, instead it became louder.
My irritation suddenly grew big. I looked at the one who's laughing and she looks like she's going to burst open.
I'm now glaring at her but she's still laughing and it's so annoying. Isn't she embarrassed?
I quickly finished my meal and asked for the bill, when it arrived, I quickly paid for my food so I could leave.
I should leave before I lose my temper, so I stood up and left.
I grabbed my car keys but wala. So I looked back at my previous table and it's there.
Aish, I need to go back.
I entered the restaurant again pero meron akong naka-bangga but I continued on entering.
"Is this yours?," narinig kong may nagsabi sa likod ko.
Paglingon ko, nagulat ako. It's the guy in his the black suit with green eyes and he's holding my car keys.
"Yes, it's mine." sagot ko saknya.
"Do you mind taking me with you? My car's flat," tanong niya ulit sakin.
Should I?
"Where are you heading?" I asked.
"At the mall." sagot niya.
"I'm also heading at the mall," I answered. "Come," tuloy ko.
Pagsabi ko nun ay lumakad na ako at sumunod naman siya. Habang sumasakay ako sa driver's seat ay sa passenger seat naman siya.
Nung nasa loob na kami ay biglang naging awkward ulit; walang nagsasalita.
Habang nagddrive ako ay hindi ako natingin doon sa sakay ko, baka pag nahuli ako ay mas maging awkward pa, so I just focused on driving.
Maya-maya ay may nag-ring and phone ko pala yun. I looked at the caller ID and answered. It's my secretary.
"Miss, you need to go back at the Philippines now, something important came up," sabi nung secretary ko.
"Tell me the details."
"Someone is threatening to reclaim all the money he invested if you don't show up, some people here are curious of what the CEO looks like."
"Tell him the consequences and the amount of money to pay from breaching our contract, tell him that I can just find another investor to invest in my company. He's not so important. Wag kamong pa-special," I said as I ended the call.
Ayaw ko pang bumalik, I want to stay here for atleast 2-3 more days. Sayang naman ang punta.
"Aish, nakakainis," pabulong na reklamo ko.
Nilingon ko yung sakay ko at nakita kong nakatingin sya sakin.
"What?" I asked him.
