Lily POV

I shook my head and laughed. I was watching James wave his wand and try to get the answers to appear on tonight's homework assignment. The more the he tried, the more aggravated he got, which made me laugh even harder. I don't know what was funnier, the way he'd try to come up with more spells or how he didn't realize that Professor Slughorn put an anti-cheating spell on the homework.

Finally, he somehow managed it to appear on the homework and he looked pleased with himself. He smiled and was about to show us the finished paper but it started to melt into goo and then it vanished in an instant. I started to crack up laughing.

James groaned and turned back to his desk and a new blank sheet a paper was waiting to be filled out on his desk. He jumped making him trip over his chair and fall to the ground. I started to laugh so hard that my face started to hurt and my eyes started to water.

James looked over at Sirius who was shaking his head in disbelief, grinning from ear to ear. He held up his finished copy of Slughorn's homework. James raced over to him and started copying down everything. I rolled my eye and continued to study divination for my exam. I didn't understand this subject at all. I just simply stared at it hoping some answers would come to me.

James came over to me and whispered in my ear, "Do you want to sneak away?" I looked at him and smiled. " Anything to get away from Divination." I followed him out of the common room. He lead me down to the Quidditch field where there was a beautiful picnic set up on the ground.

I gasped, it was so breathtaking. There was a beautiful woven basket full with delicious foods. "W-Where did you get all this food?" I asked as I sat down on the blanket. "Nicked it from the kitchens, the house elfs can be very nice." He grined. I smiled back, still surprised that he did all of this for me. "I wonder what would of happened if I couldn't of sneaked away." I laughed. "That would been bad" he laughed.

We launched into a conversations about Quiddich, Divination, carrers, and feet. I don't even know how we got on the 'feet' topic, but it was the best date I had ever been on. I felt like all my worries, exams, and frustrations went away and it was just me and him. Until, someone screamed.
