Dreams DO Come True ~Chapter 7~

Ezra's POV

I'm just about to leave as Byron comes up to me to ask about what I'm doing tonight with Aria.
"Hello Ezra." he says
"Hello Mr Montgomery. It's nice seeing you here." I say in a formal tone.
"Call me Byron, well you should after, you know, you're dating my daughter." Byron says as he lowers his tone.
"Yes, Byron. I just want to remind you that I love your daughter and that nothing will ever change that." I say in a stern, but steady voice.
"I know, well it's not as bad now that she is no longer your student. But I'm still keeping an eye on you!" he says as he walks away.

Ella then walks over to me with a camera in her hand. "Hi Ezra!" she says with a smile on her face. She always liked me better than Byron did.
"Why don't you come over for some pictures with Aria?"
"Oh okay. Can I just ask you something first, privately?" I say, trying not to sound nervous.
"Um, well, okay." she says confused.
"Okay, well, I was going to ask Byron but to be honest, he kind of scares me so I thought it was better to ask you." I say.
"I don't know where you're going with this but go on." Ella says trying not to sound too confused.
"Oh gosh, okay, well I'm taking Aria out for a special meal tonight to celebrate but I also wanted to ask her something..." I say getting really nervous.

"Oh my god. Are you going to ask her to marry you? She is only 18 you know" she says, lowering her voice on the word marry. She begins to shed a tear.
"Yes, I do know that but she is the love of my life and I want to spend the rest of my life with her." I say as I try not to cry.
"We don't have to the wedding straight away but I do want to at least engaged to her. I want her to know that I will be by her side for the rest of her life.
"Of course I give you my blessing! You two, despite being in a student-teacher relationship, are perfect for each other. Byron will need to know but I suppose he can find out when you have already asked." Ella says trying not to be too emotional.
"Thank you. I'll pick her up at 7. Make sure she's wearing her favourite outfit, I want it to be her most memerable moment!" I say with a huge smile.
"Okay." she says.
"Well we better get back over to everyone before anyone notices we aren't there." I say.
"Okay, come to where Aria is so you can have some photos together." Ella says as she walks in the direction of Aria and her friends.
"I'll take a few pictures with all of you then I better get going and prepare for tonight." I say to Ella just as we arrive at the crowd.
