I woke up one day, and instantly felt a strange gloom embrace me. Everything seemed strange. I couldn't put my finger on why that would be. I went through my morning routine, but my mind was never on the task I was on. I was completely focused on this strange essence of how the world was.

I left my house to go to... somewhere. I wasn't sure anymore. I had no idea what to do. I just followed my gut and continued to walk alongside the street.

The walkway wasn't crowded at all, just a few people walking each direction, accept it felt really crowded. I didn't know why, I just kept going. I felt a strange presence amongst me. I tried to ignore it, but it just put a chill up my spine.

Suddenly, I noticed something about all the people around me. No one had a face. Everyone just went along their day as if it was completely normal, but everyone had no expression--no nose, no eyes, no mouth, nothing. I started to get worried, I ran around, checking every single person, a bottomless pit in my stomach. I couldn't tell what anyone was thinking, but a sense of disapproval just radiated off of everyone.

Fearfull, I just continued along, and acted normal, but couldn't help but feel strange. This was not normal, right? This isn't how things are supposed to be, right?

I just had to get that out of my head and focus on two other things on my mind: this ghostly presence that I sensed, and what I was supposed to do next.
