"Listen, Mark, you're a great person. But I feel like we've been drifting apart. I've been seeing someone else. I'm sorry."

"Amy, please..."

"Mark, I'm sorry. You've been hanging out with Jackie and your other friends more than me. So I started going out and I met someone."

"Amy! I promise, I'll change!"

"No, Mark! You've been saying that for 3 months now! And what has changed? Absolutely nothing!"

"But, please!"

"Goodbye, Mark."

All of her stuff was gone and Mark hasn't slept for days. He was going to propose, but, now, it's too late. He hasn't told anyone. He barely ate. Without Amy, he felt like nothing. He looked through his phone, seeing videos of Amy dancing or just beautiful pictures of the young woman. He had been hanging out with friends a lot lately. Especially Seán. Signe broke up with him for an unknown reason, yet, he didn't seem effected by it. Mark's phone buzzed, his screen lighting up. It was a message from Jack.

Irish Dude

Are you okay? I'm going to fly to L.A.
Jack, please, no, I'm fine.
I already bought the tickets.
See you next week.

Mark slammed his phone down on the table, sighing. He hasn't really talked to any of his friends lately, due to the fact that he didn't want them to see him. Mark sighed, his hands going over his face. He got up, picking up of the clothes off the floor and tidying up. He sat down on the bed and cried. Mark sat and cried.

He didn't want Jack, or, Seán, to come and see him. Mark knew that Jack would try to spoil him with love and affection. Mark didn't want any pity from him. He found Jack quite handsome. Wait, could he possibly have a crush on Jack? Could he?
