Intent on destroying everything in your path,
And I ignored all the earthquakes,
That was the omen of your arrival,
I ignored the warnings to stay away from the beach,
Where you would crash down the hardest,
Because as the ocean pulled away from the shore,
I was entranced by all the sea glass uncovered,
Glistening from the salt water upon them,
And I started up a collection,
Since you exposed them just for me,
I only noticed the beauty you were offering,
Until you crashed down and pulled me out to sea.
