Halloween, in Haddonfield...you have heard so much about what happens there on this particular night. Locals there rumor about someone named the "Boogeyman" who comes out every year on Halloween to kill his victims and targets. Other locals of the town call him "The Shape" because of him appearing randomly and having a shady shadow like appearance. He is known to have a pale white mask with pitch black eyes. With his brown slicked back or messy hair and his dark blue jumpsuit. His weapon? Usually a kitchen knife. The largest one.
Despite all of these rumors you decided to stay in Haddonfield with your Aunt anyways. Your parents thought it would be alright if you stayed with her for a week. You knew you wouldn't see your Uncle however because he disappeared on Halloween a few years back.
The sun was starting to set on the hills of Haddonfield as you arrived at your Aunt's front porch. You had a large brown bag in one hand with all your belongings in it and the other hand held your phone.
"Woah this looks a lot like Michael Myers house." you would say as you stood in front of the iconic house according to the locals who claimed the house to be Michael's.
You would get the feeling someone was watching you and it was unwelcoming. Despite this, you continued up the path to the house your Aunt has been living in. It was completely new to you.
"Hello sweetie!" Auntie would say overjoyed.
"Hi Auntie, this place looks amazing! I can't believe someone would make such foolish rumors over such a wonderful looking home."
"I hate to say those don't always seem to be rumors. But come in dear. Please unpack. Meanwhile, I have to head to the store to get some candy for the Trick-Or-Treaters who should be coming in a few hours."
"Okay see you in a bit!"
The house would give you an eerie feeling as soon as you stepped in. A cold chill ran through your spine as your eyes scanned the living room, kitchen, and stairs. Slowly you walked towards the stairs and each step you took made a creeek noise.
"Creepy."
"Aha, here is the room Auntie was talking about."
The room seemed to be pretty empty. There was a wooden bed in the center with blankets and pillows covering the surface of it. A dark brown vanity looked to be tucked in the corner and a white wooden closet with shutters was at the far left. Setting all your things down, you then went to go downstairs.
"I completely forgot about the pumpkin she said I could carve!"
In the kitchen there would be a perfectly colored orange pumpkin on the top of the counter with a knife ready.
"Perfect."
The TV would be facing the direction of the kitchen so you could watch at the same time. Grabbing the TV remote, you flipped through the channels to find the classic movie "A Nightmare on Elm's Street"
"Ooh, I love this movie. Haven't watched it in a while though."
You carved your way through the pumpkin and it started to form the classic Jack-O-Lantern shape.
"I am going to take a break."
Putting the knife aside the half carved pumpkin, you walked over to the couch and laid down. The couch was surprisingly comfortable and was heavily padded with much couch cushion. It felt like you were laying on a cloud.
After about 30 minutes into the movie your eyes started to grow heavy. This movie was not even the slightest bit scary for you.
Clash..
The noise had come from the kitchen and you sprung up from the couch.
Nothing was there..
The knife wasn't there either..
"(Y/n), stop fooling around with yourself. Michael Myers isn't real."
You were a bit shaken by the situation but you decided it would be best if you took a deep breath and went back to the couch.
After 30 minutes,
Creek..
