After coming back for the cafeteria the day was a blur. I had a lot of work to do and I forgot about the whole meeting Neil's mom thing. Before I could leave the office I had to submit some documents to Kabir. Kabir was the head of the department and also the first friend I had in Pinnacle. He is thirty seven but works and behaves like a twenty year old. He has a lot of commitments with others as well as himself. He is a very closed person, you never know what's going on in his life or anything in general. I reach his cabin and his assistant is already waiting for me which is kind of weird but saves me the effort of talking to Kabir. I went back to my workstation and started packing up my stuff and cleaning my desk, OCD you know? I look up to my laptop and see a sticky note. It read "waiting for you in the basement",it was very weird because Niel always comes to my workstation and we walk together. Anyways, as soon as I finished the cleaning up, I hurried my way to the basement. I go to the basement and stand near Niel's car and don't find him around. In a minute or two he comes and asks me why did I come down directly? I was pretty confused but I was more focused on meeting his mom so I asked him
"So who am I going to meet?"
"You'll know"
I felt like teasing him, "So much suspense, I wonder who is the special girl"
"You can't meet yourself, can you?"
The problem with Niel is that he need stop making me blush when I am looking right into his eyes. I anyways can't control myself from blushing when looking at his charming face.
I didn't question him more and sat inside the car with excitement.
