abilities: typical gem abilities such as gem bubbling, weapon summoning and shapshifting.

Electrokinesis- manipulate and generate electricity

Pyrokinesis- a minor degree of fire manipulation from creating small flames for weapon fodder and attacks.

Photokinesis- projects light from gem, can create small spheres of light to blind others.

Personality: At first Heliodor appears to act robotic, but in reality she is stagnant from the rigid system. Heliodor has some issues with socializing with other Gems she is not familiar, but if it's something that intrigues her, Heliodor will feel At ease. Despite being a slightly high ranking gem, she feels gem society will not grow because as long as the diamonds are in charge. Deep down Heliodor desires to grow. Her personality will develop more as she escapes to Earth.


History/ Backstory: For thousands of years Heliodor has worked for Yellow Diamond. However, during the rebellion she has starting to doubt her leaders and sympathizes with the rebels. However, she didn't rebel because she felt she didn't have a reason and did not want to put the Gems working under her in danger. Thousands of years after the rebellion to the present, Heliodor became emotionally stagnated and gradually realizes the true nature of the diamonds. She began to realize that despite Homeworld's advance technology that society itself is being stagnant due to the caste system. Until the present day at the Trial she witnesses Lars' and Stevens escape on the palanquin. That moment started events that will lead her and other gems to find out about the truth, but more importantly Heliodor starts searching for who she is.

Likes: Sunflowers, books ( especially science fiction), sunsets, testing human technology (primitive yet effective), fireflies, studying culture, and learning new things

Dislikes: monotony, being stressed out from responsibilities, people close to her getting hurt, the Diamond Authority, high ranking Gems who abuse their positions, and Gems being closed minded about change. 

Fusion standing: has no problems, but wants to have a good relationship and history with said Gem before fusing.

Extras: She once had a Pearl in the past, but near the end of the Gem War she found out that Pearl was secretly fusing with one of her Nephrite's. Instead of reporting them to be shattered, she spared them. Though her Pearl wanted to stay loyal to her, Heliodor told her that she was in love with Nephrite and didn't want to deny them happiness. After they retreated from the Diamond Attack, Heliodor had Pearl and Nephrite flee in a spaceship, and she had her crew members that were loyal to her report that the two Gems got shattered in the aftermath so Homeworld wouldn't find them.

Even though she had a Pearl, she thought that Gems just existing as a toy or decoration is disgusting. When she sees Gems flaunting their Pearl's it makes her figuratively sick.

Finds Crying Breakfast Friends astonishing, as food should not even have tear ducts.

Heliodor can use electricity like Garnet, but if her emotions go beyond their limits while generating it can cause electrical equipment nearby to completely fry.

Though despite being a leader to her crew, she has her own insecurities about her position.

It has been hinted that Heliodor's desire to learn new things stems from Gems she met in the past who would secretly learn new skills behind Homeworld's back. When she tries to meet them again one day she learned that one of the Gem's were shattered because of their deviation from the caste system and said Gem secretly build a ship to escape.

Finds Ronaldo annoying at times when he constantly gets in her face with his blog, fried his phone a few times.

When she was introduced to the Library she wanted to read everything in there. However, it took forever and eventually it took Garnet, Ametrine and Steven to drag her out because of closing time.

If she appeared in the Heart of the Crystal Gems arc, she would participate in the Gem Battle, she calls out Yellow Diamond for callous behavior and groans at Peridot's behavior as she gets poofed, but she herself is poofed by Yellow Diamond.
