Blade Runner 2056

Keanu ran through the halls of the abandoned mansion he had his pistol in his hand. He was running after a replicant that was wanted for the murder of a family. Keanu started to catch up to the Replicant but he took a hard right and Keanu didn't react fast enough and crashed through a wooden wall. He laid in the pile of broken wooden boards Keanu held his side and slowly started to get up and then was kicked in the gut. "You made a mistake Keanu" the Replicant grabbed him by his hair and looked at him "you killed a whole family James....". James looked at Keanu and said, "yea your right I really did.." Keanu grabbed his Pistol from the ground and shot James 4 times in the chest. James let go of Keanu and he looked down at his chest and pressed his fingers against the bullet holes in his chest. He then looked at Keanu and fell back Keanu held his side and leaned over to pick up his badge "I'm sorry it had to be this way..." He sighed and then knelt down next to James. James looked at him and said softly and shakily "so this is what it feels like to be human..." Keanu then pulled the wallet out of James pants pocket and he then picked up James and held him over his shoulder. He walked to his car and opened one of the doors and softly set James in the passenger seat he closed James' eyes. He then pulled out an ear piece out of his trench coat and placed it against his ear and it molded into his ear he then tapped it and said "Regan tell jackal that I'm bringing James in...dead" "Alright, Keanu what happened....". "I'll talk about it when I get there going dark" he then took the ear peace out and placed it in his pocket and he walked over to the driver side and got in and started the car. It started hovering and he then flew off into the sky and he then stopped at the city gate of San Jose the neon lights were shining so bright he had to dim his windows. Two Flying Motorcycles few over to his car and he rolled his window down halfway and showed his detective badge "Alright...blade runner OPEN THE GATE" Keanu rolled up his window and slowly loosened his grip on his pistol. He then flew into the city after the electric gate faded away he then started to drive towards the police department. He then pulled into the garage of the police department he then opened up the doors to the car and pulled out James and walked into the building. He then walked past the front desk "um sir excuse me you can't go back there I need your badge" "cazz you know me so do you're job and tell jackal I'm here".

He then walked to the holding cells and set James body against the wall he got up and turned around and Jackal was standing there. "I told you to bring him in alive and now he is dead" Jackal sighed and pulled out a bundle of cash and tossed it Keanu "we got a new task for you we need you to bring in an ex-blade runner...he has some information that we need so bring him in alive". Keanu looked at the money and then walked past Jackal and said: "I'll do it but in a few days I have to do something personal" he then walked to Regan's office and knocked on her door as he opened it. "Hey don't forget to come over tonight with Ly" they both locked eyes and he then looked away and scratched his head and then walked away from her office. She looked at him walk away and looked down a bit and continued with her work he kept walking and walked to his car he opened the car door. He sat down and opened the glove compartment and he grabbed a cassette and pushed it into the radio the cure came on. "Show me show me how you do that trick, the one that makes me scream she said, the one that makes me laugh she said," he smiled as he listened "such a good song" he closed the car door and flew off into the city. He then hit the auto drive and put in his building address he sat there and closed his eyes he kept thinking about shooting James he woke and saw he was next to his apartment window. He lifted the car door and then his window opened and he jumped into his apartment and his car flew off to the parking garage, he pulled his pistol out of his holster and placed it on the table he then walked over to the fridge and the door disappeared and he reached in for a beer. He popped the cap open on the corner of the kitchen counter he then walked over to the window he came in through and he looked at the city and sighed Keanu took a sip of the beer and he then made a disgusted face "dam the Replicants can't even make a proper beer". He looked back out the window and as the sun set the whole underground neon lights turned on he looked down and could see them through the clouds then a message appeared on the window. "Hey Keanu we are heading over....umm yea see you soon" then the message disappeared he took a big gulp of the beer and he then set it down on the living room table he then moved the couch out of the way he then pulled up a piece of carpet. Keanu then moved a floorboard and pulled out a metal safety box he then said "Ava track Regan's and ly's position and tell me how much time till they arrive" he started to put in the code to the safety box "you have 9 minutes Keanu" "thank you" he opened the box and saw that there was only 1 microchip left. "4 minutes left" he placed the chip on the table and quickly put the board back and the carpet "2 minutes left" he started to push the couch back into its place Keanu quickly took off his trench coat and threw it on to the couch he grabbed his pistol and put it back into his holster. "They are at the window do I open it Keanu" Keanu grabbed the ear piece out of his coat pocket and he let it mold into his ear "open it Ava and make sure that you dim all the windows and spawn the platform for them" he walked over to the window and it split down the middle and moved to both sides sliding open. They stepped out of there car on to the blue platform and walked into his house he followed them and the window closed "Alright you know the drill lower your bottom eyelids and look up" he started to roll up his sleeves they did as he said and checked that Regan didn't have a barcode on the bottom of her eyes. Keanu then checked Ly he did Keanu then sat Ly down and took off his coat for him he then handed him a pillow to bite into "Alright buddy this will hurt and I'm sorry but it's the only way you can keep living" Keanu then pulled a pocket knife out and flipped it open he then started to cut into the back of his neck he made the cut in the shape of a rectangle. He slowly peeled back the skin and revealed the metal spine "Alright Ly we're almost done" he then slowly pulled the old microchip out and placed it on the table and grabbed the new one he was about to push it in all the way but he quickly stabbed the knife into the old chip after he finally pushed the chip in all the way. He then took his ear peace out Keanu slowly put the skin back in place and he said "alright Ava fix it back up just stay still Ly" a blue laser beam came out of the eye of the earpiece and started burning the skin back together he got up and motioned for Reagan to sit down he picked up his beer and took a large sip he then set it down on the kitchen counter. "Alright done Keanu" "return to me" he put his hand out and the earpiece floated over to his hand and landed in his palm he put it back I to his ear and then pushed his hair to the side and watched Regan and Ly with his brown eyes "GAAHH UHHHHHFHV" Ly muttered loudly ly then shook his head and placed his hand on the back of his neck "Ah it hurts more than last time....well more than any of the other times". "That's because the chip is kicking in this one will last you 4 months and it enhances your human feelings and senses" Keanu looked at them still "Now Ly tell me what city/ state we are in and what's the date" Ly rubbed his neck and started to think "we are...in krozock California....the...the...d-date is 4-4/26/20..56 a Thursday" Keanu smiled and walked over to Ly and he crouched down in front of him he then checked Ly's eyes "Alright buddy you're all good to go but stay here for a couple days don't need you going out there and messing up okay". Ly nodded Keanu got up and grabbed his trench coat "I have to go buy more chips or see if they are even in stock I'll be right back" he put his coat on and walked over to the window "Ava call my car and put there's in the garage" "wait can I come with you...please it's been forever since we have gone anywhere together" Regan said Keanu looked at her and then back at Ly. "Alright fine but Ava stay here and make sure Ly rest" he then pulled a silver metal disk out and he tossed it in the air and a hologram of a blond skinny girl flew out and walked towards Ly "I'll watch him Keanu and I will make sure nothing happens to him Regan" Ava said Keanu walked out to the blue platform and got in the car Reagan looked back at Ly and then joined Keanu in the car he closed the doors and he then flew off into the city Regan looked at him from time to time. She then pushed the auto fly button "why have you been ignoring me lately it's like you don't want me around" he looked at her "it's not that I don't want you around it's just...I have a dangerous life and I don't want anyone that I care about to get hurt because of my actions" she looked down a bit and she then pushed the auto drive off he grabbed the wheel he focused ahead and then he said "you guys can move in with me I wouldn't mind it would be nice" she smiled and then said "I'll have to check with Ly he will probably say yes so where are we going exactly". "Somewhere not safe so be on your toes and point out what you see" he then landed on the dirt he got out with her and started walking towards a black market he had his hand on his pistol.
