The wind blew hard against Magnolia Grey's dark brown hair as she walked through the streets of Tampa, Florida. She walked to the old coffee shop on the corner to escape the storm.

The bell dinged when she opened the door, catching the attention of the cashier. Maggie gave a subtle wave with two fingers as she came up to the front counter.

"Hello, welcome to Daisy's, what can I get you?" The young girl asked, enthusiastically. She looked not much older than Maggie but she was definitely pregnant and it was easy to tell.

Maggie brushed a strand of hair out of her eyes, glancing up at the menu for a quick moment even though she already knew what she was getting. "Could I get a strawberry shake?"

The cashier nodded and typed it onto the cash register screen. She looked back up at her.

"That will be $5.92" she stated, her blue eyes twinkling. Why she was so happy, the brunette didn't understand but the young girl was truly beautiful. She handed her a 10 dollar bill. "And name please?"

She chewed on the inside of her cheek. "Magnolia"

The cashier nods and writes the name onto a plastic cup before going to get her shake ready. She walks over to a table and sits down to wait.

The air in the shop was very hot, unlike the air outside, so she slipped her jacket off and sits it on the back of a chair.

She looks around the nearly empty shop, resting her head against her hands, closing her eyes.

A few moments later, a cup was sat down in front of her, she looks up to see her strawberry shake on the table and the cashier waddling back to the counter.

"Thank you" She mumbled after her, not wanting to be too loud.

She looked down at her cup. The cup said 'brown haired girl' in black permanent marker.

Wow, she couldn't even remember who I am long enough to write it on the cup..., she thought to herself.

This had been happening her whole life. Nobody could ever remember who she was. It usually only took them a couple seconds to completely forget everything about her.

Maggie brought the clear straw to her lips and took a large sip, shivering slightly when the freezing cold liquid slid down her throat.

Another ding chimed from the bell atop the door, causing her to jump and glance over. Five teenage boys with black leather jackets and plain white t-shirts underneath walked through the door at the same time, people moving out of their way as they walked directly through the middle of the small shop. They walked through like they owned the place and everyone else just resided there. Reaching the counter, four of the boys looked over at the fifth and he ordered all of their drinks, seemingly used to it.

She wanted to get out before them so she grabbed her cup of the table, wiping away the ring of water it left with her hand and walked quickly toward the door.

Right when she opened the door, someone ran into her, spilling her milkshake on her shirt. She ran to the only hallway in the shop, trying to cover the milkshake stain with her hands in embarrassment.

"Today, really? Why today?" She whispers, talking to herself. She holds her hands to either side of her head, tears welling up in her eyes.

The cashier brings her a towel, having seen the whole mess go down. She thanks her with a swift nod of her hand and began trying to dry herself off.

"Are you okay?" Came a quiet, raspy voice from outside the hallway.

Her head snaps in the direction of the voice and her eyes are met with those of one of the leather jacket boys. He looks genuinely concerned about how she is.

"Oh...um...yeah...just a little accident with a milkshake" she awkwardly says, furiously wiping her obviously stained shirt.

The boy covers his mouth with his hand, looking like he was about to start laughing at any second. Though, given how strange her shirt looked at this moment; he probably was.

In her hurry to get her shirt dry, the towel slips away from her fingers. She stumbles to grab it but it floats to the carpeted floor.

Before she can even register him grabbing the it, he's holding the towel out for her, a small smile plastered across his face.

"Thank you" She sighs, taking the towel. She couldn't believe she just got a milkshake dumped on her in front of a hot boy and she dropped her towel on the floor in front of the same hot boy. How embarrassing could she get.

After drying her shirt as much as she could, she decided to leave before the boy asked what her name was. She grabs her abandoned jacket off the chair and heads toward the door, careful to be sure that nobody around her had a milkshake. She let out a deep breath.

"Wow that was just great" she mutters to herself.
