Kara Danvers got off the elevators to Catco and instantly moved to Eve's desk, Kara had went to one of her favorite bakery's, and got donuts to cheer the new CEO up, as she had one of her first big board meetings, and by the swearing coming from her office it did not go well.

"Is Miss.Luthor free?" And unlike Jess Lena's previous assistant Eve was easier to get past, but Kara did come to like the overly stressed L-Corp assistant, and missed seeing her and having a conversation with her when Lena was in a meeting and Kara was waiting for her.

"Yes. Her schedule is clear till one." Eve said barely finishing her sentence before the excitable blonde rushed into the younger Luthors office. Eve shook her head at the blonde and wondered how Miss.Luthors last assistant dealt with the two.

Lena was too busy going over an email to notice the puppy in front of her.

"Lena." Kara said booping the Raven haired woman's nose. Lena looking up at the blonde reporter and gave her a thousand megawatt smile that could end war according to Kara, the same one that was reserved only for the blonde.

During her date with James, they both realized that there was no chemistry, but they did bond over Supergirl as Lena was curious about the Girl of Steel, and Kara. Both were mysterious to her. Lena had internally Laughed about Kara being mysterious as she was an open book.

"I brought donuts." The blonde said bouncing up and down, like an energetic puppy. She really wasn't helping her case of not being adorable.

"You're a Superhero Kara Danvers." The CEO said plucking up a doughnut.

"Pfft no I'm not I'm regular ole Kara Danvers nothing super about me." The blonde said aggressively adjusting her glasses.

Lena stared Kara down with a raised eyebrow.

"Remember what I said after my Mother and Cyborg Superman framed me and broke me out of jail?"

Kara shook her head, she remembered vaugely but didn't see the relevance.

"Remember Supergirl might have saved me but Kara Danvers you are my hero."

"What are friends for." Kara answered sincerely, and for a second she thought she saw disappointment in Lena's eyes.

"Well I have to get back to work." Lena said dismissively.

"Oh ok. I'll see you later?"

"Of course."

"Alex I think I have a problem." Kara said around a piece of pizza.

"Yes it's call your Kryptonian diet." The redhead jested tipping her glass of whiskey towards her Alien sister.

"No. It's about Lena and I." Kara said tentatively, know that while her sister no longer had an DEO following Lena night and day, Alex still had trouble accepting the friendship between the Super and the Luthor. Her argument being Clark and Lex use to be best Friends until Lex found out about Clark's side hustle.

"What about it?" Alex finally asked carefully.

"Well when I said Lena and I were friends earlier she looked disappointed, do you think she wants to take the next step and be my best friend?" Kara asked innocently, and Alex sighed on the inside. If only Maggie were here she could explain to Kara that no Lena didn't want to be friends she was thinking about something more.

"No more."

"Like Best best friend?"

"No."

"Then what."
