«Calypso's P.O.V»
The loud hoof beats coming from above make my ears perk up in an interested manner, though I already knew quite well what it was. There were several herds forming now because of the storms. I had recently convinced myself not to join any herds, because I was "bad luck". The lightning would always strike down close, or next to me. Just yesterday I ended up roaring, "I'm not the daughter of Zeus!" I knew that was obviously true, because Zeus is the god of the sky. He's also a god, not a horse god. So I couldn't be his daughter even if I wanted too!
I snort softly and find myself walking around. The bright sun rose up from it's slumber and begins to peek through the trees, shining perfectly on my already gleaming coat. I stop abruptly when I see a young yearling on the ground, trying to stand but failing. Out of motherly instinct, I gallop over at full speed but slow to a quiet walk when I'm a yard away. I tilt my head to the side a bit, but lean my neck down to nudge the yearling comfortingly. I pick my head up and start to look around, but not seeing anyone. I turn back to the yearling and flick my tail. My ears perk up on their own when they sense something or someone. I turn my head and see a gorgeous dun stallion. He seemed to have just materialized out of nowhere!
"Who are you?" He snorted in a defensive manner. I took a few steps back, apparently just enough room to let him stand in front of the yearling.
"I'm Calypso... You?" I blew softly, glancing back down at the yearling every few seconds. Was this yearling his?
"I'm Champion. I'm apart of a herd, and this yearling just got separated." He leaned down to nudge the yearling, then looked back up at me.
"Oh.. I'm so sorry... I didn't mean any harm, I just wanted to help. I can go, if you'd like. Once again I'm so sorry.." I hang my head in utter shame, knowing that I shouldn't have even gone near the yearling.
"Why are you apologizing? You found the missing yearling! Thank you, thank you so much!" His response surprised me, but I took it and my features relaxed.
"Well, your welcome... But I have to go. Your not safe around me," I glance up at the sky, just in time to hear thunder rumbling. "Especially when it's about to rain."

I find myself galloping off, not looking back to Champion. His puzzled expression was etched into my brain, but that didn't matter now. I need to get far away from that herd so I won't hurt anyone with my terrible luck. I lay down in a cave and decide to rest for the night. I close my eyes and everything goes black.

"Calypso..."
"Calypso wake up..."
"What? Huh? Who are you??"
"I am Zeus, god of the sky."
"No! Your lying! You can't be Zeus!"
-The sound of Calypso's breathing was sharp and ragged, she couldn't believe this. She wouldn't.-
"You don't believe me, do you, Calypso?"
"No! I don't!! And.. And how are you talking to me when I'm a--"
"Horse. And I'm a god. Yes, I know."
-Calypso snorted, but nodded her head.-
"I thought that you sealed off Olympus. I thought that the gods had gone silent... What's going on? And why are you always striking down on me with your lightning bolts?"
-A rush of questions escapes her muzzle while Zeus' laughter booms throughout the cave, echoing off the walls. A spark of electricity dances around in his beard before he puts it out.-
"My dear Calypso... Yes I sealed off Olympus. Yes the gods have gone silent, but I have my ways. I don't have time to tell you what's been happening. And i'm afraid you'll have to figure that out yourself, along with your last question."
-He seemed to grow more weary by the minute. And for a second, it looked like he had switched to Jupiter, his Roman form.-
"Wait! Wait don't leave me!"
-Calypso's vision went blurry and before long, the dream was gone.-
