The word we, the kids and I, were told each time we had our picture taken today.
I smiled.
I did.
And it felt as though I was cheating you.
You don't get to smile anymore.
You don't get pictures with our kids taken anymore.
You don't even get to see our kids anymore.
You died.
And the world still spins.
Time still goes on.
Nothing stops when someone dies.
People move on.
People still breathe.
Your death was the biggest moment of my life,
But some people didn't even know you existed.
How could something mean so much to one person but nothing to another?
It confuses me.
Everything is different without you.
The way I think.
The way I sleep.
The way I talk.
The way I handle situations.
You had such an impact on what ever it was that I did.
