Sun, 20 July
I've been lost in an unfamiliar part of the forest for about 3 weeks and haven't found anything. There has been some encounters that I just can't explain. I saw something running across the floor so fast it was unclear to see. I haven't been able to write in this journal for a while because so much has happened that I haven't even had time to. At one point I swear I even saw a satyr (half human - half goat). Everything has been very mysterious but the only place I have witnessed is some lights from far away but I didn't approach because I heard voices. Anyway, goodnight. I should probably go to sleep.

I climb a tree and get to the highest and sturdiest branch so I can sleep. Once I get to the top, I slip my backpack off my back and pull out a long, thick rope and wrap it around my legs, like from hunger games. I've only fallen off once but that was because I didn't tie the knot correctly. I tie a knot around one of the straps of my backpack and hang it from the branch. I quickly drift off to a deep sleep.

"Screeeeeeech". I wake to a sudden noise which sounds like a dying horse. As I quickly pull my bag up and untie the ropes around my waist, I look down and notice an actual dead horse. Quickly as I woke up, I slide down the tree and walk towards it.
'Wait, that's not a horse, that's a...'. I slowly creep up around to get a better look at it. I quickly look away as I notice that it has a huge gash in its leg. As I look back I notice something.
"IT'S A UNICORN", I scream as I rush back from it. Quickly, I pull my camera out of my bag and take photos of it. As I slide it back in my bag, it screeches again as it's in terrible pain. I can't help to not help the poor thing so I snatch the small first aid kit from the front pocket of my backpack and start helping it. When I have finished cleaning up the blood (which is silver), I very delicately wrap the bandages around it's leg.

It's been around 7 hours since I healed the unicorn and now it's up all healthy and clear of any injuries. It's probably around 4:00 pm so I don't have time to search. For some strange reason, the unicorn is staying with me and letting me care for it. I slowly peel the bandage away from it's leg and with no surprise it's all healed up.

I'm slicing some meat that I caught last night and to my surprise, the unicorn starts eating it. I pull it away to cut up the rest but it keeps following me, trying to steal more.
"Nkrí, stop", I demand.
'Wait, did I just call it Nkrí'. I stop and think about calling it a name.
" I'll call you Omorfiá. It's 'beauty' in Greek". I take my knife and finish cutting the meat for dinner.
