You never thought you'd ever be anything special. But look at you now.

You're dating the worlds best looking ninety year old man and have been for three years now. Steve is a great guy. The ultimate gentlemen but he had a lot more game than Tony gave him credit for.

He was the most romantic guy you've ever dated and you loved it. You had to get a restraining order for your last boyfriend 'cause he was cray cray an not in a good way. When you broke it off with him you basically fell apart because why did this have to happen to you? Why couldn't you meet a good guy to spend your life with? Then one day you ran into Steve.

You were jogging the same park you always did when you needed to clear your head. You had your headphones in and the music blasting louder than healthy. He was going so fast he didn't see you and you were to distracted to notice him. The next thing you knew you were falling to the ground before a blond guy caught you just before your head hid the cement. He pulled you back up and started apologizing faster than he was running. You almost instantly recognized him. Even though you weren't in New York when the thing with Loki went down you still heard about it. Every one new about it.

You'd known of him especially since the only thing you'd done for the past few months were browse the Internet with tubs of ice cream. Once you had convinced him that you were fine he shook your hand. His hand practically swallowed yours but it was surprisingly soft. He smelled amazing despite sweating from his work out. I smiled at him and shook his hand back.

"Nice to meet you my name is Steve Rogers," He smiled.

"Yeah I've heard of you, I'm (Y/Full/N)," You smiled.

You ended up chatting on forever until the rumbling of your stomach interrupted you. He then asked you to lunch with him and he gave you his number because despite all belief he can use his phone.

Now here you are today happy and healthy in a relationship with the best guy on the planet.

You heard the doorbell ring.

"Speaking of the best guy ever," you muttered to yourself with a smile. Steve had asked you to go out tonight and he said it was special so of course you got a little more dressed up than usual. You opened the door to a soldier dressed to the T in a dark black suit and a white shirt with a black tie.

"Your chariot awaits m'lady," He smirked and you gave him a questioning look. You followed him outside and your jaw dropped. A stretch limousine was parked outside your apartment building. "Did Tony stop by or am I seeing things?" you laughed.

He chuckled and opened the door for you to step in. "Nope this was all me." You smiled and got in and Steve followed. You drove a ways until you finally stopped a your favorite diner. You giggled and turned to Steve and kissed him. "That's something I love about you. You can be romantic and fancy but you always know that memories and love mean more than diamonds and caviar.

He laughed,"You hate caviar."

"Of course! Who would eat unborn baby fish?" You protested. He just shrugged and laughed. You ate at the diner and you had a great time but you still didn't understand the need for the limo and the fancy clothes. You asked Steve but he wouldn't tell you anything except,"Patience is a virtue."

I can only have so many virtues.

After dinner you got back into the limo and you drove around a bit more and Steve covered your eyes with a blind fold. You laughed as he messily tied it. You drove a bit more and you came to a stop. Steve got out and you followed him with his guidance. He pulled you around a bit and made sure you didn't bump into anything when you finally stopped.

"Steve this is killing me can I take the blindfold off now?"

"Yep."

You pulled the blindfold off and looked around to see that you were in the exact same spot in the exact same park that you met in and... Steve was down on one knee.

You covered your mouth with your hands when he smiled and pulled out a little black box. "We met in this very spot almost four years ago. I was running and wasn't watching where I was going and I bumped into you like an idiot," he laughed. You could feel the tears welling up in your eyes.

"I've loved you every day since then and I will love you every day now and forever more so if you'll have me," he took a deep breath and looked you in the eye. "(Y/full/N) will you marry me?" He opened the box and you saw the most beautiful diamond ring you've ever seen. Tears of joy slid down your face and you smiled and held out your hand and said.

"Yes."
