ONE

The train stopped as it's door opened for people to exit. I grabbed my bag and walked out of the busy train. I looked at the clock and noticed I was earlier than usual.

I headed up the steps and walked the same direction I always take when going to school. It won't be sunny today, instead it'll be filled with wind, which is my favorite weather.

It's not too hot or too cold but I was feeling sick last night so I ended up wearing my blue sweater to school.

People who were wearing the same uniform were walking around in different groups. I heaved a breath as my stomach grumbled. "Guess I haven't eaten breakfast yet." I thought and heard a ring.

I was outside of a 7/11 store. I headed inside and walked towards the sandwiches. "I might as well grab some for lunch." I told myself and looked around the shelf filled with numerous selections of sandwiches.

Egg, ham and cheese, spam, BLT, etc.

I grabbed the ham and cheese sandwich along with an egg one. I headed towards the counter and payed for the food.

I walked out of the store and noticed the air was cold. I closed my eyes as I felt the cool air. Don't you ever wish that your body can be blown away by a simple wind? Maybe that's just me.

I like the sound of going to places without any worry at all. I guess that's what people call freedom, huh.

"Move away." I heard a voice say. I realised I was standing in the way to the entrance of the store. I quickly went to the side and bowed, "sorry." I said. I didn't lift my head up but I saw about..two figures for sure.

I quickly shoved the sandwiches inside my bag and headed towards school. I opened the egg sandwich and there was about 2 sandwiches per container. I took one out and started eating. A smile appeared out of nowhere as I felt my stomach get satisfied with the meal.

"Look at you, being fat." I heard a familiar voice. I turned and saw Jinho with his hands behind his back. "Good morning." I said, my cheeks half full with the sandwich. "Skipping meals again, aren't you?"

I scoffed, "I don't skip meals on purpose, I just keep forgetting to eat. That's all." I said and took another bite. "You're such a klutz." He smiled.

"How's practice been going?" I asked. Jinho shoved his hands inside his pockets and shrugged lightly, "they've been going fine. I'm getting better and better." He looked at the sky.

I pinched his cheek, "look at you, growing up." I smiled. "Your height is still the same though." Jinho rolled his eyes and slapped my hand, "we're the same height, don't cross me."

I playfully punched his shoulder, "you're too cute." He sighed, "at least I'm more mature than you're ass." I laughed loudly, "you? Mature? I never knew we were telling jokes." He rolled his eyes at me as I laugh.

The two of us entered school. "I'll see you when I can." We waved goodbye as he headed towards the other direction. I headed upstairs towards my classroom and settled my things.

I lazily took out my last piece of the egg sandwich and ate it in peace. I noticed everyone was running around the classroom, panic mode. This could be anything honestly and I love a good tea in the morning.

"Did you hear? They're gonna have a battle!" A girl yelled to a group of people. "You mean.." she nodded quickly, "the baseball game! KDS vs CHIGGOU. I can't wait to see my babies play again!"

This was a well-known thing in my school. We have a rivalry kinda thing with this other school not too far from here called CHIGGOU. Well, only in sports at least. I'm not really too big on sports since I'm not that interested. But KDS and CHIGGOU have a long history. The rivalry has been going on for years or even generations to be honest.

"Isn't Shinwon close friends with CHIGGOU's Yang Hongseok?" A guy asked.

Every girl in the classroom turned their heads to the man. I sighed, I forgot how many fangirls this Hongseok dude has. Especially in our school.

"You look gloomy." I heard a voice. I lift my head up and see a familiar face. "Oh, hey Chan." I said and sat up properly. He sat down beside me, "you were deep into your thoughts again, weren't you?" He asked.

I slowly nodded, "man you read me like a book." He chuckled, "I've known you long enough, Ann." I couldn't help but laugh, "is that a bad thing?"

"Guess so." He smiled. I finished the remains of my sandwich and dusted off my hands from the crumbs. "You're eating so early in the morning already." Chan leaned back against the wall, his arms crossed. "I didn't have breakfast, okay!" I yelled.

He stood up and pats my head gently, "sure, sure, fatty." He said and walked back to his respective seat.

The bell rang which made everyone walk back to their seats. The doors opened which revealed a tall figure. "See you later, dude." He said to another figure outside. I couldn't see since everyone stood up and started squealing loudly as if they were bad pigs.

But I saw a small space, not enough for me to see the figure but I can see. It was a slightly shorter dude compared to Shinwon. Is this that Hongsuk guy?

We both met eyes, making me startled.

The doors soon closed, I slowly looked back at the front where our teacher entered. "Good morning class." He greeted while settling his things on his desk.

Our teacher, mr Jiun is a very carefree teacher compared to the other teachers I had in the past. He isn't exactly carefree but he's the most approachable so far.

"Alright, today is a new day, folks." He said with his hands behind his back. Some started paying attention to his random discussion while as for some were most likely whispering, talking, or people like me, zone out.

I wasn't really the best at academics. I love learning new things, don't get me wrong but the crap in school is just so boring to me. Or it's just the topics.

I felt my stomach grumbled slightly. "I literally just ate." I heaved a breath as thoughts and thoughts entered my head.
