Eleanor's POV
"Hey, I'm leaving."I call out to my mom.
"And where do you think your going, Missy." she says, staring at me.
"Please don't play mom with me. I'm leaving with some friends." I reply as I head out.
Hey, I'm Eleanor Smyth and this is typically my life. People might think I'm some perfect stuck up girl that has the best life, but that's far from the truth. I live in a town called Morris town in the state of New Jersey.
I have the worst so called "parents" that are never there, the only people that I can actually rely on are my friends. And they're stuck up most of the time too. The one thing that I really want in this world is to have someone I can count on, someone who could give me a shoulder I can cry on, someone I know will be beside me no matter what.
I mean, sure I have a boyfriend and I am one of the most popular girls in school, but that's not how I wanna spend my time in high school. I wanna be able to think back to high school and remember that I actually enjoyed it, that it actually meant something. Oh well, I guess not everyone gets what they want in life.
My friends are Maddie Stevenson and Olivia West. Maddie is short, slim built, with long, blonde hair. She has green eyes, the most adorable smile, and the sweetest heart.
On the other hand Olivia is tall, slim built, has long black hair, and icy blue eyes. Every guy wishes she was theirs. Knowing Liv they can keep on dreaming.
Then there's my boyfriend Brandon Brown. He's a typical high school jock, with his dirty blonde hair and blue eyes, that make every girl swoon. He's captain of the football team and expects me to go to every game.
As I'm walking down the street to meet Olivia and Maddie, I see the last person on Earth I'd wanted to see. And it's no other than Noah Davis. God I hate him.
Noah Davis is a tall, tan average looking guy. He has dark brown hair and light brown eyes. He's in shape no doubt, just not my type. I mean no offense to the guy, it's just I can't picture myself ever liking him.
"Hey, Ella." he says walking up to me, ugh here we go again.
Trying to avoid eye contact, I reply with a simple "Hey," and before he can say anything else, I quickly turn on my heels and leave.
"Finally" I whisper underneath my breath as I see my friends. I run to them like my life depends on it, stumbling along the way, not caring.
"Where were you?" Liv asks with confusion, probably worried because I'm literally never late.
"Sorry, that weirdo was talking to me." They both look at him with the most creepiest look, then nodded understanding what I mean. Noah is always stalking me, Liv and Mads always tell me that he must be obsessed with me, and I can see why. Sometimes, I actually feel bad for that boy. He tries way too hard.
We walk into our favorite cafe called grand cafe , and sit down at our favorite table.
"So—" Mads starts, breaking the awkward silence. "Whats going on with you and Brandon?"
"Ya, anything new?" Liv chimes in.
"Great, really great. Everything's working out really good." I lie, what I really meant to say was our relationship is the same old, and it's not that special anymore. It's basically getting boring. There's no more love between us. To be honest there never was any love to begin with.
