JJ suggested, and Aofie furrowed her eyebrows.

"What?"

Sarah said as if he were stupid.

"Yeah. That's not how it works."

Pope told him, and Aofie patted JJ's shoulder.

"Oh, shit. Let's throw a rock at it."

John B suggested quickly, and Aofie almost laughed loudly, but JJ quickly covered her mouth.

"What?"

Pope said, looking over at John B.

"That's a really good idea actually. Let the axe murderer know that we're here."

Kie said sarcastically, and Aofie grabbed JJ's wrist, moving his hand away from her face.

"Throw a rock at it?"

Pope said, genuinely shocked at how stupid John B was.

"Guys, we have a celebrity amongst us, give it up to Einstein."

Aofie joked, quietly clapping her hands, while JJ and Sarah quietly laughed.

"You guys have a better idea?"

John B asked defending his idea.

"Literally anything but that."

Kie said monotonously, Aofie nodding in agreement, pointing at her.

"What about the breaker? In the circuit box on the porch."

Sarah suggested, and Aofie thought back to the time she was on the porch, not really remembering seeing a circuit box there. But she second guessed herself, as it was four years ago.

"We used to play hide-and-seek here as kids."

Sarah said, motioning to Aofie, who nodded her head.

"And if we were brave enough, we'd go all the way up to the porch. I've seen it."

This caught Aofie's attention, Sarah was never brave enough to make it to the porch. Aofie was the only one in their friend group that ever actually got on the porch.

"No, no. You're not going in the house alone."

John B refused, and Sarah scoffed.

"Watch me."

She said, and Kie looked at her.

"Crain chops people into pieces."

JJ told her, and Aofie rolled her eyes at the mention of the rumor.

"You believe that, but she's like what, 85?"

Sarah said, looking over at Aofie for clarification.

"Yeah, somethin' like that."

JJ confirmed, confused as to why her age has anything to do with it.

"She's probably barely still kicking."

Sarah said as Kie looked between them.

"Here. I'll go with you."

"So will I, you and I are the only two who know the way."

Aofie said, grabbing Sarah's hand.
