I wanted to stop by Ellen's apartment so we could catch up. I knocked her door, but there was no response. I then realised I had a spare key, so I could let myself in. I twisted the key into the lock, and the door slid open. It was silent.
"Hello? Elle?" I called out hoping for a response. I was about to give up, until I heard soft cries from Ellen's room. I walked over to the door, and opened it. Ellen was sitting at the end of her bed holding a picture.
"What's up Elle?" I asked, sitting beside her.
"My mum died, 7 years ago today..." She cried, staring up at me.
"Aw Elle Im so sorry" I sighed, pulling her into a hug.
"I love you" she smiles.
"I love you too" I state, and before she can say anything, my lips crash onto hers.
"Will you be my girlfriend, Elle?" I ask.
"Yeah sure why not. Colby." She laughs.
