"Who is she?"
"Hm?" His expression
feigned confusion, but she saw
right through it."Melanie.
She misses you,
apparently;
needs to see you soon,
she says."She didn't miss a beat.
The vehemence and confidence
in her voice was a prominent
contrast between the rawness
of her eyes, prior to the tears.He stumbled over his words:
"I-er, hmph, what?""No Inglés?"
She scoffed, rolling her
stone-cold eyes in the process."Let's see if this jogs your memory.
Blonde hair, green eyes;
wow,
you picked yourself a
beauty.
Oh,
and what's this?"
She gasped dramatically;
"What a body!"He didn't say anything.
His eyes were wide
and reflected those of an
innocent man.
The irony
was almost comical.Her voice dropped
to a
broken whisper.
"Why?"He just looked at her,
seemingly
not even attempting
to provide her
with an explanation.She shook
her head in
disappointment.
and turned to face the door."You'll regret it; that I'll make sure of."
With that, she left,
promising herself
that she'll get her
revenge.
