"you can't just expect me to be ok with this!" marinette yelled.

"honey, if you do this, are company will grow." mrs. dupain-cheng smiled.

"i don't want to do this shit!" marinette glared at her mother, and stood up but before she can storm off her father held her wrist tightly.

"marinette, manners! you can't just talk back to your mother like that!" mr. dupain-cheng scolded.

"let go of me!" marinette punched her father's arm, but it only made his grip tighten.

"marinette! stop mov-" mr. dupain-cheng's sentence got cut off when marinette's mother suddenly slapped her.

"what happened to you, marinette?! why are you being like this?!" mrs. dupain-cheng yelled at her daughter while her tears were rolling down.

"it's not me, it's you!" when she felt like his father lighten the grip, she took the chance to escape.

"you, never let me feel how to be loved!" marinette said her last words before locking herself inside her room and burst into tears.
