It was an ordinary Monday for you. You woke up, got your work clothes on, ate breakfast, brushed your teeth and started heading to work, so nothing new. You arrive to work 10 minuets late, so you quickly grab your keys and stuff you need and rush into the building. You swing open the door as Pam looked up from her desk and giggled softly. She waves and looks over at Jim. You sigh shyly and walk over to your desk. "Dwight seems to be working on a poster for Micheal" you think to yourself as you sit down. You turn your very old computer on and get to work. You feel something hit your forehead and you quickly look up from your computer to see Jim chuckling as he signals to you to meet in the break room. You nod and get up and walk to the break room. You smile and sit down as you wait for Jim to get into the room. You've known Jim for about 2 years now. He's been your closest friend ever since you started work and you felt confident in telling him anything. You started developing feelings for him a month after you both met. You were so caught up in your thoughts that you didn't feel the warmth of Jim's arms wrapped around you from behind. You smile and lightly hug his arm "so, what did you need?" You say in a very soft voice. He sighs and starts shaking softly. "I was wondering if you wanted to go out to dinner with me tonight..?" You blushed deeply hearing those words coming out of this mans mouth. "Absolutely, I do" you chuckle as you feel him sigh against back of your neck "that's my line Y/L/N" he chuckles as he lets go of you and walks to the door frame "we'll talk about this later. Alright?" You nod as he leaves the room..
