Prologue

Taehyung focus

Taehyung was running down the street and into some woods trying to out run police officers.Well,actually it was police officers in cars.It was all good though because Taehyung had experience outrunning cars.For he was a well known criminal.Robbing,Hacking,and even sometimes tracking and stalking people,was not new to Taehyung.

He had done this for almost 9 years of his life.After all,his dad was a criminal too.After his mom had died about 8 months after Taehyung was born,his dad found out that stealing was the fastest way of getting money.The stealing began getting worse and worse.To the point where it made Taehyung start stealing too.

He stopped suddenly hearing a crunch behind him.He turned around to see a young teenager that was certainly not a police officer.The kid was wearing a white T-shirt with simple jeans and converse.He stared at Taehyung without saying a single word to him.

"Hey kid you shouldn't be here", Taehyung said to him.The boy shyly looked down to his feet before replying,"S-sorry I was just running away,I'll l-leave now." Taehyungs expression softened at the boys shyness.He started walking towards the other boy,the younger flinching.

"What is your name?And why are you running away?" Taehyung asked without hesitation.Suddenly he heard alarms blasting on.He looked at the boy waiting for a response.Finally the other said,"My name is Jeon Jungkook,and umm",he looked down before quietly finishing,"I'm running away because my step dad hit me."

Taehyung instantly hugged Jungkook,shocking him.Jungkook knew he had just only met this guy but he felt safe having arms wrapped around him.Jungkook slowly hugged the older back instantly breaking down in tears.They stayed like that until Taehyung pulled away.He looked at Jungkook's face and then said,"If your step dad hits you again run and run until you get to this Street." He took out a piece of paper and a pen,writing his address on it.

He handed the paper to Jungkook who hesitated to take it.Jungkook slowly nodded while still being scared of the new mysterious person.He looked up to Taehyung and started to speak,"But how can I trust you if I don't even know your name?" Taehyung then said,"I have been through the same thing,and my name is-" Taehyung was interrupted by rustling between some leaves and then dogs jumping out.

He knew the police had tracked him so he quickly turned to Jungkook and told him to run.Confused Jungkook nodded and ran back to his house hoping his step dad was asleep.He held the paper tight while running,not wanting to loose it.Taehyung watched as the boy ran back and felt satisfied.

He turned around and ran to his house,leaving as quickly as possible to not get spotted.Taehyung thought back to the boy he had encountered.He,himself didn't know why he gave him his address.He thought he would never see him again.

Oh but how wrong he was.
