Shimon sat there in the park on a bench. It was still early morning. The sun was still down. He could feel the winds gently caress his face, as they blew. There were not many people around he noticed, as his eyes glanced over to each and very corner of his sight.
He usually would be training around this time but now he sat here knowing that the doctors had advised him not to overdo it after he got his prosthetic leg fixed. He wondered would it be the same again for him or not.
His mind drifted off in negative thoughts as he still tried to keep his guard high as if he was creating a defense barrier. But this one was against himself.
He released an audible sigh when he heard someone's frail and delicate voice right from behind him,"Are you alright Shimon?"
He recognized this voice in an instant and turned his head back and saw Mayura standing there with a worried face. He replied,"Yeah. I'm fine." to which mayura instantly countered back, "doesn't really seem so."
Exactly. That's what he hated so much. Mayura could always and easily decipher his expressions. And that was the moment when he couldn't lie any longer. That's what happened back there at the hospital three weeks ago. She had held him tight as he let out his emotions flow in her embrace.
"Don't worry you can always tell me." Her soulful voice brought back Shimon into the reality.
She sat beside him. Her expressions were really pure ones. Moreover they were true ones. Shimon started the conversation again,"the doctors told me to take rest for a while..." She was about to speak her words when Shimon added further," even after that I'm not allowed yo do any sort of hard training, at least not for a month."
His voice had deepened which could be clearly understood by her. She said in a loud voice,"But you still did it and the doctors had to put you on bed rest for two days again, right?"
He was taken by surprise because of her accusing face,"how do you know that?"
She muttered," Sayo told me."
Yeah right Chiiko. He could remember her crying face when he had returned to the Ikaruga household. He couldn't even fulfill the promise of protecting her right now. He cursed himself within for causing all this trouble to the the ones who were really important to him.
"Shimon,please don't take it too hard on you." She tightly clutched his hand to which Shimon's face heated up. She usually doesn't have this depth of voice but when she does it always sends him into a wonder ride.
"But, you know-," he was cut off by her," Yeah, ofcourse I know, but its just that I don't want you to get yourself hurt along."
His eyes widened in surprise. This was the girl wasn't she, whom he really admired? In front of whom he had opened up? Whom he had shown his vulnerable side? Whom he liked so much? Who he had probably fallen for?
Yes. She was the one. But now all of this somehow din't seem to matter him. For he knew that Mayura wouldn't probably fall for someone like him. Atleast not in this state. He don't know the reason why he felt this but it just somehow did.
"I'll be there always." She again said with a confident face, which seemed reply bright. Maybe this wasn't it only it, she had more plans of making Shimon blush madly as she continued, "No matter what." Her face beamed brightly. She gave her usual but yet enchanting smile.
The sun now shined brightly as its rays covered even the tiniest of things and gave them a golden glow. He wondered was it really the sun or was it her that made things look more beautiful.
He knew he had to reply as she stood to leave,"thank you." He stood up as well this time more confident on his side. She din't barge a lot of words to get him high but even her mouthful gave him the hope he needed.
He smiled, showing his gratitude to her.
In the click own second she wrapped her arms around Shimon leading him to blush madly. It was just like the one back there in the hospital but slightly different as this time he wrapped his arms around her waist too, hesitatingly though.
Her hug was warm that pulled him back onto the bright side erasing all the darkness that wanted to allure into him and a one he would never forget.
Now the mist of negative thoughts in his mind had cleared off.
And the picture that revealed was beautiful. A picture that had him and her together. A picture in which he protected Chiiko. He was amazed how easily she calmed him and soothed him. She made him feel better. He loved the way their friendship bloomed. He dint know if he confessed his feelings for her what her reply would be, it dint even matter because he was thankful that he had her by his side. But it took him a while to realize that, she always brightened his day,
that She was his golden glow.

Finally!!!!!!! Done. Yayyyyyy my first ever shimayu fic. I forgot to tell you I'm a hardcore shimayu shipper.

Well you must all know about shimon's leg. I known the chp isn't get translated but the spoilers you know, but yeah three or four images of the hospital scene were translated which gave me some kind of satisfaction after the whole thing
I hope you know what I'm talking about.
Besides, hey other writers writing this I just realized something that I wanted to share with you and that is have you ever felt that your other stories are in mess but when you write something you really like (shimayu for me) ideas and inspirations and what not start emerging into your brain on their own??
