Return to the Falls

Prologue

(My second story yay! Hope you enjoy!)

     Ever since the Pine twins went back to California, life had been different for them. The school year started and they began 8th grade. Both twins decided not to talk to others about the strange summer they had. Who would believe that gnomes were real or that a interdimensional demon had tried to destroy them, no one if they hadn't seen it themselves. Dipper excelled in his classes and wasn't bullied as often as he was the year before, and Mabel had fun introducing people to her pig Waddles. Strangely enough plenty of people seemed to think Waddles was cute.
     Even though their lives were good, they still missed their summer home and the friends they made while living with their Grunkle Stan and his brother Ford at the Mystery Shack in Gravity Falls. They missed Gravity Falls and it's strange people and creatures. Mysteries around every corner and all their adventures. How many nights they had done their best to make sure that they would be able to go back to Gravity Falls for the summer. Many video chats had been made with their great uncles to make plans for when they would go back to Gravity Falls from their exploration of the ocean, as much fun as high seas adventuring is sometimes it is nice to be home. After planning for the entire school year they hoped and dreamed that they would be allowed to return. On the night before the last day of school the twins' parents made an announcement at the table: the twins will be spending the summer in Gravity Falls.
