Toni had been trying to get into Cheryl's mind for about two days now. Which included: "get your sapphic serpent hands off my body" and "Are you stalking me? Because you aren't good at it".

But, Toni's favorite was right now, "my mother told me not to talk to strangers, and you're definitely strange", which she had just said after Toni sat next to her in class (the only open seat) and tried to start doing their partner work. She'd asked her why she wouldn't talk to her and received that response.

To which, Toni was laughing in Cheryl's face at. She looked her in the eye and could not contain her laughter. She swore she saw Cheryl crack a small smile while Toni was bent over in laughter. Toni replied, out of breath with laughter, "clearly your mom never told you about girls like me then" and winked.

Now it was Cheryl's turn to laugh. "Seriously?" she asked between giggles "what's there to teach?". Toni smirked, it seemed like she was getting in. And just as the bell rang Toni replied with a cool, "wouldn't you like to know?"

The next night, Cheryl is at the movies by herself after her mother decided to be a prostitue for the third night in a row. She kept thinking about her conversation with that serpent girl, Toni, that was her name.

Her mother had never told her anything about strangers. Truthfully, she'd hand her over to some stranger in a van if they asked. Her mother is a stone cold bitch. Completely careless about her, and the reason she's so bitchy all the time.

Her thoughts about her evil mother were rudely (thankfully) interrupted by Toni. Cheryl didn't know why she tried to avoid Toni at first, the girl seemed to be her kind of fun. She was goofy and funny, and not to mention gorgeous.

"Hey Blossom watcha doin'?" she strolled up and leaned against the counter she was getting her popcorn from. "Well, stalker, I'm about to see a movie, by myself. Or did you already know that, since I'm pretty sure you followed me here..." she trailed off.

Toni smirked, "Well I didn't follow you here, at least I don't think I did" she paused and pretended to look confused, "yea pretty sure I didn't" she said after about thirty seconds. Earning a small smile out of Cheryl, who looked upset, Toni eventually noticed.

She stood up straight and looked at Cheryl in the eyes, "Cheryl are you okay?" "No I'm actually not." she paused and looked around, "are you here alone?" she asked.

"Yup" Toni replied, popping the 'P', and continued, "I was supposed to meet Fangs, but someone decided a date with Kevin was more important" "You wanna head in? Unless you still don't wanna be near my 'sapphic serpent hands' of course"

Cheryl sighed, "shut up. And lets go". Toni smirked and motioned for Cheryl to go first and followed her to the seats she chose. She didn't really like the end of a row but she figured it wouldn't be worth it to argue with Cheryl. Might get a box of popcorn to the face.

Close to the end of the movie, she saw Cheryl quickly wipe a tear away when Simon's mother told him she still loved him after he said he was gay. Toni remembered how it felt when she came out as gay to her uncle.

Which is why she still doesn't have a house, and lives on other people's couches. She's working on getting an apartment though, she has some money in the bank, and works enough to be able to buy one soon. Maybe a trailer, she's not sure to be honest.

By the time she's finished thinking about her crappy coming out story, the movies over, and Cheryl is poking her so she'll start moving.

On her third poke she says, "Earth to Topaz, the movie was not that good" "Gosh Blossom I'm sorry I think sometimes, you should try it", she said getting up and moving, when Cheryl tries to trip her and she stumbles, hearing Cheryl laugh behind her.
