^Chapter 17^

I changed my position to the nail tech. She looked very young. Maybe 18. She had blonde hair, but it looked at if she dyed it. Her eyes were a light brown, just like mine. Her skin was a beautiful deep tan color. She was beautiful. I wish I looked like her.

The girl started on my nails. I haven't gotten acrylics in so long that I forgot that it kinda hurt. Maybe I just have sensitive nails.

About 45 minutes later the lady finished my nails. They were beautiful. Long, but not too long. I loved them. Since I was the first one done, I waited on the couch for Ruby and Annie to get finished. Ruby looked like she was just about done and Annie looks about half way through. I decided to show Johnny my nails now. **just pretend that the background is a snail salon, ok. Thanks**

Kenzie: this is what I went with. Do you likey??

Johnny o: *nods in approval* Damn, they look nice

Kenzie: hahaha thanks I'll see you in a couple more hours.

Johnny o: ugh, fine. I don't know if I can wait that long

That bitch didn't even acknowledge my emoji. Damn. Whatever, the girls are now done.

I sigh as I get up from the couch. "What's wrong." Ruby asked me.

I smile. "Oh nothing." I say while shaking my head. "The sigh just came out as I got up."

She nods. "Kenzie! Let me see you're nails!" Annie says while grabbing my hands as we walk out of the salon.

I show both Annie and Ruby my nails. "I LOVE THEM!" They both say as the same time. They're so cute.

I look at their nails. Annie got light yellow, long, stiletto nails. They were really pretty. Ruby's nails were shorter but they were still a coffin shape. The color of Ruby's was unique. It was like a burgundy, purple color. Then, she got sparkles on her ring finger nail. They made her look more mature.

We all got back into our original seat as before. "Where to next?" I ask as I buckled my seatbelt.

Without turning back towards me Annie says, "The mall. Everyone is planning on going to a party on Friday." She pulls into the parking lot.

Oh god. Ive never been good with parties. That'll be a story for another time though. I nod my head. "Ok. What kind of party?"

Annie takes her parking spot while Ruby responds to me, "Casual. No need for a dress or anything." Even when she says that, she's cute. I don't understand.

I nod my head as we all open our doors of the car. We walk into the store and go into Charlotte Russe. There I found something, but I don't think I'll be wearing it for the party. I just picked up a red, strapless bodysuit and a pair of light ripped Mom jeans.

Annie looked at me. "You can't wear that to a party. You need to hoe out a lil bit." She said while nugging my shoulder.

I scrunched my eyebrows. "What if I don't want to look like a hoe-" I really don't want a bad reputation with that. "Especially in front of Johnny."

She rolled her eyes. "Get it then. I won't tell you what to wear." She says with a nice face. That calmed me a little bit... the nice face.

I shrug and walk up to the counter. The lady puts my clothes into a bag and hands it to me. I grab it and all of us go into the next store. Ruby runs over to a cute white, long sleeve bodysuit. It would look really cute on her.

"I love this!" She says while picking it up. "I wanna find like a cute skirt with it."

Me and Annie nod in approval.

Annie walks over to something, it looks like she's not picking it out for herself though. "You should try this on." She said holding the tiny pieces of material up.

I scrunch my eyebrows together and tilt my head to the side. "Where's the rest?"

She rolls her eyes. "This is it. It not even that small." She says whilst handing me the tiny top and skirt two piece.

I walk....rather was pushed, into the dressing room. Here goes nothing.
