Boarding school life

This chapter is set the year before the rest of the book so Liam and Harry are 16, Niall's 12 and Louis' 3.

"I cant do this anymore Troy, he's just so active and hyper." Jay said picking up Louis' toys that he'd left scattered around the living room floor.

"I know what you mean I mean we're 20 years old and have a 3 year old." Troy sighed sitting down next to his girlfriend.

"You know I saw this advert in the newspaper today saying how a boarding school in London will be taking children as young as 4 from September." Jay said feeling guilty for even suggesting the idea.

"What, you want to send him to boarding school?"

"Think about it, he'll get all the attention he needs there and there be able to properly care for him plus he'll be 4 by then so rather than sending him to a normal primary school why not send him to boarding school." Jay said and Troy sighed. He loved Louis with all his heart but he must admit he did miss the days when he was free to do as he pleased without having to worry about a toddler.

But before Troy was able to answer his girlfriend Louis appeared sleepily rubbing his eyes having just woken up from his nap.

"Hey boo, nice nap?" Troy asked and the toddler nodded before walking over to his daddy and raising his arms and Troy happily picked him up cuddling him close. This was the part of fatherhood that he didn't mind. When Louis first woke up he was quiet and cuddly and Troy didn't mind that at all it was when the boy woke up he was less fond of fatherhood.

"Daddy, down please." Louis said after cuddling with Troy for around 10 minutes and Troy sighed knowing Louis was about to cause havoc but none the less let the boy down as at the end of the day he was just a kid and was going to make a mess.

Troy watched as Louis tipped just about every toy he owned onto the floor and spread it out everywhere and he sighed before getting up and followed his girlfriend into the kitchen.

"What's for dinner?"

"I don't know, we haven't got much, this is what I mean. We can't even afford to properly look after Louis. We can't afford to feed him, clothe him and buy him toys what kind of parents is that." Jay said beginning to sniffle and Troy sighed bringing his girlfriend into a hug.

"I know, maybe we should think about it and visit the school, I mean at the end of the day we'd still see him during the holidays right." Troy said and Jay nodded

"Alright I'll ring tomorrow then and set up a meeting."

"Hey Ni good Christmas?" Harry asked his new room mate who just shrugged going over to Harry and excepting the hug he was offering.

"I'm going to guess it wasn't great."

"That would be correct, he's never been that bad before, it's like he was saving everything up and waiting for me to come home." Niall said as he started crying into Harry's chest.

"I'm sorry Ni, but all you need to do is tell the head and he'll sort it all out and your dad won't be able to hurt you anymore."

"But then I'll be taken away and put into an orphanage, I don't want that harry." Niall cried and Harry sighed sitting down on the sofa and wrapping Niall in a proper hug once he was settled on his lap.

"You know I was scared to talk out about my parents as well, well my birth ones that is, and it was Liam in the end who gave me the confidence to do so, and as a result I've got amazing new parents. I mean you've met Anne and Robin."Harry said and Niall just nodded.

"Just because it worked out for you doesn't mean it will for me."

"I know Ni, but if you want to do something about it you can always talk to me and I'll help." Harry said and Niall nodded cuddling more into the older boy.
