My name is Samantha Evans, if you're reading this, it's already too late. Chances are, I'm dead. I've probably just been slaughtered in cold blood. It's not your fault,  it's not anybodies fault. I'm not mad, I just thought that if I were to go, it would be to my own hands.

It started on my fifteenth birthday, when Sarah Sheets moved next door. My parents being the friendly people they were invited Sarah and her family over, the day they arrived too. They all gathered around in the living room, my parent's forcing me downstairs to socialize with the new neighbors.  I sat down across from Sarah. She had long black hair and striking blue eyes. She didn't talk much as our parents laughed and talked together. Eventually Sarah and her family left. I didn't see her again for two weeks.

It was the middle of the school year as my birthday is in April. I noticed Sarah sitting alone at lunch, I had never noticed her at school before. I walked over to her and said a friendly 'hi'.

She stared back at me, confused.

"Have I met you?" Sarah asked with a creepy grin.

I looked at her, thoroughly shocked, how could she not remember, we met nearly two weeks ago.

"I'm Samantha, Samantha Evans,  you're my neighbor." I sat down across from Sarah, her gaze lowered as I tried to make eye contact.

"I don't know who you are, sorry." Sarah said rather loudly, the entire lunch room turned to our table.

Sarah got up from the table and left. I stared at her empty spot across from me, although she left, her shadow was still there against the wall.

Eventually, at every lunch I sat with Sarah. We didn't talk, not like I had a choice though, she always ignored what I said. I eventually just gave up trying to talk to her. It was about a month before I heard her speak again.

"Samantha," she started, I looked up, surprised she remembered my name, let alone was talking to me, "I need your help."

"With what, homework?" I asked curiously.

"No, can you come to my house on Saturday night." Sarah said.

"Okay then." I agreed.

I walked over to Sarah's house, it was cold and raining. I wore a black hoodie and ripped skinny jeans. Before I even knocked on the door, Sarah opened it.

"You came?" Sarah said surprised.

"Yeah, I guess." I responded with a slight smile.

Sarah invited me inside her house.

There were no decorations, the walls weren't even painted. Her house was... empty.

"Where's your room, Sarah?" I asked.

Sarah pointed upstairs, so I started walking up there. I noticed Sarah wasn't following, so I decided to snoop around Sarah's house. I tried to open up every door, but they were all locked. Except for one. I noticed that one of the door's handles were a bit loose, so I slammed into the door and to my surprise, I was successful.

I heard Sarah call from downstairs, "What are you doing?"

"Nothing." I replied quickly.

I looked around the room, it was covered in... blood. I held my hand over my mouth to avoid throwing up from all the blood. There were pentagrams drawn all over the walls and ground. I ran out of the room quickly.

"Everything okay?" Sarah asked.

"Sure, yeah." I responded quietly.

"Now, we're going to go to the forest, I need you to carry this shovel." Sarah explained.
