HOW TO CHOOSE A BIAS

If you ask any K-Pop fan how to pick a bias, they'll probably respond with this:

"You don't pick a bias, your bias picks you"

This obviously isn't very helpful, so allow me to show you how to make it through the eternal struggle that is picking a bias.

1.) First Impressions

So you've watched a music video that you really liked, and you want to stan. Chances are, there was a member who stood out to you, whether it was their looks, the amazing high note, the fire they spit, or their exceptional dancing.

2.) What Type of Idol Do You Bias?

There are so many personality traits that one can have, so I'll just tell you the idols I usually bias. They're usually dancers, with cold/quiet exteriors, but are actually really soft, caring people that I can admire and/or protect from this cruel world =P Consider which positions you see yourself biasing the most (ex. maknaes, leaders, rappers, etc.), their sense of humor, their level of adorableness, their hardworking nature, etc.

3.) Getting To Know The Group They're In

If you haven't already done this, watch as many videos as you can with your (potential) bias in them. Weekly Idol, ASC, and ARIRANG Self-Introductions are really good programs to watch. 

4.) Two Paths

So you either completely fall in love with the one you choose as your bias, or another member of the band begins to catch your eye. The latter is more common tbh. For instance, Mark was my initial GOT7 bias, but then Youngjae ruined my life lol. So then you repeat step 3 with your new bias.

5.) You have a bias (for now)!

If someone asks you who your bias is, you now have an answer. Staying with the one you answered with is a whole other endevour.

6.) Ultimate biases

Ultimate biases are the one idol whom you love and admire unconditionally. As I said in #2, there are too many things to cover, so I'll just ask these questions: 

Who is the one idol who you turn to when you feel down? Who's talent shines above all the others? Who has flaws that make them ever more charming?
