There he was greeted by a team of officers. He didn't want to involve the feds, but Rey had a good point. In having specialists help them catch Jamie, rather than having them go after him solo and risk Rosalinda getting hurt in the process. But that didn't mean he would agree with their methods.

"My name is Alvarez and I'm the leading investigator," he announced shaking each of their hands. "We're facing a troubling situation, we have Jamie here."

Leon grit his teeth and fists at the news. Rey placed a hand on his shoulder silently, quelling the inner turmoil inside him as they waited to hear the remainder of the news.

"A plane just landed a little earlier than you lot, it was empty," the large officer ran a hand down the side of his beard with his lips forming a tight line as if having trouble speaking. "Ms. Canto is in fact with Jamie."

William let out a stream of curses as Rey remained quite along with Leon.

"What the hell are we all doing here? Let's go get her." Rey impatiently suggested.

The officer grunted not liking the abrupt interruption.

"We are forming a way to reach the two of them without alerting Jamie." He continued, "you know him better than we do, we need a load down of who he is as a person, capabilities, connections and all that jazz, hence why you were allowed back here in the first place. There are a number of extraneous variables the team is attempting to avoid. Ms. Canto is expecting and moving her away from Jamie unharmed is our top priority."

Just then an image of Rosalinda appeared on a large monitor in front of them. Her face was flushed and eyes wide, all while being ushered by Jamie. Leon felt as if battery acid was being poured on to a fresh cut seeing Jamie's arm wrapped tightly around Rosalinda's waist, his hand curled just under Rosalinda's stomach.

As hard as it was to watch it was even harder to rip his gaze away but Alvarez clearing his throat brought him back.

"We know the hotel they're being accommodated in, thanks to a call made by a hotel worker." He nodded towards a man sitting at the main desk with four monitors in front of him. "Wiz gained access into their security feed, show them."

Remaining where he stood he watched, his pupils dilated as both their bodies gravitated closer to each other. Her soft fictitious smile almost fooled him, heck it managed to fool Rey and William as they clutched each other with confused expressions, it was laughable actually.

Which was what he did, he fucking laughed. Hard.

The room went silent, even Alvarez stood awkwardly next to him not knowing what to do.

Leon advanced towards the screen with a satisfied smile. He had to give to the woman credit, she could be a damn good actress.

Rotating towards the group he scoffed. "She's good."

Alvarez grazed the back of his head with a hand timidly. "Are you sure she's in trouble? It seems to me she's perfectly fine."

"She freaking hates the man more than I hate Rey wearing the color orange." William retorted crossing his arms over his chest.

Rey frustratingly threw his hands up in utter annoyance. "Again, mock at home or with family members, not in public."

"Close in on her face," Leon requested ignoring Jamie's sordid hands over Rosalina's belly. "Look familiar?"

Both Rey and William made noises of acceptance.

It was Willam's turn to laugh. "She had the same smile the day of her mother's engagement."
