*Claire's perspective*
I looked out my window. The neighborhood looked so cold and dark. All the leaves flew around in the air, and you could somehow smell the cold fall scent through the open part of the window. Outside my dad and my grandfather were packing our stuff in the truck. It all seemed so confusing. I didn't liked the thought about leaving the house, where we grew up, and also shared memories with mom. This was like the last piece of her, that we still had, and when I walked around the house all the memories came alive, like for example when my parents came home with my younger brother, August. How small and cute he was, but thats ages ago now. Now we were going to start our life all over - my dad, August and myself.
When I waved goodbye to grandparents standing in front of our now old house, it was a teary goodbye. We would be moving far away, and I didn't knew, if I would ever get the chance to see them again - I was now going to become a new Claire; the one I have always wanted to be.
