The last city {Vkook/Taekook}

It's been years.

Years since we last walked together in that snowstorm on our way to that last city where the last living humans had gathered after the world entered a new glacial age.

We didn't even know if this town was real at the time.

We had only heard rumours from a few people trying to survive a little further south in this world now covered by a vast white cloak that seemed endless.

At that time he was bigger than me and much stronger.

We had decided to leave our little shelter after all our family members had died and there were only the two of us left.

I didn't want to leave.

I couldn't persuade myself to leave behind the bodies of the people I cared about most.

But he pushed me to do it.

He pushed me to leave them.

He pushed me to save my own life.

We had walked for hours, even days, without seeing anyone.

Only countless deserted ruins covered with this eternal icy white blanket.

We drank only snow that we melted in a bottle. 

And we ate very lightly.

Only a few lost berries or animals allowed us to survive.

Even if it was dogs or cats we had no choice. 

He didn't give me a choice.

He wanted me to live.

Then we would have discovered the last city together.

We would have lived there together.

We could have been happy together on that huge white planet.

We could have experienced all of that.

If he hadn't disappeared in that last storm years ago.

I have been waiting for him since that day at the gate of this city that we thought was only a legend.

I wait.

Hoping to see him again after the last words he said to me before he disappeared.

These words that I have not forgotten and that have kept me alive until now:

"I'll find you. We'll live together. As we always promise. Even if it has to be in another life. We'll be together forever Jungkook"

That hope will never disappear.

The hope of seeing him again.

The hope of seeing Taehyung again.

Even if it has to be in another life.

I will probably start writing this story as soon as I finish Steal or kiss so I may post a chapter from time to time for now but really not often
