Madison's diary
Well diary,
It's been one week since we moved to Atlanta and I have to admit, I'm surprised how quickly things have happened. Just a week ago, we were still only planning to move and getting ready to say goodbye to our friends and the places we know and love in Temecula. But as quickly as change occurred, we've begun to settle in to our new life half way across the country.
I guess what I miss the most about our hometown is the accessibility of my close friends and family. My best friend Aspen and I have been friends our whole lives, and I couldn't imagine my life without her. Moving nearly 2,000 miles away from her is something I never would have seen coming - Except maybe for college, however. Although it's something we never dreamed would happen, we've made our long-distance friendship work. Our nightly Face time calls last almost an hour each day, and we've already arranged plans to visit each other in the coming weeks.
Although it all seemed somewhat overwhelming at first, I think we're really going to like it here in Georgia.
