It was a cold winter night when Donkey was kicked out of his house by his wife. Their relationship had been very rocky for the last couple of months and honestly donkey was tired of seeing his kids hiding in the corner of the room as he and his wife went at it. But tonight was even worse because it had ended up with donkey out of the house so he decided to see if he could crash at Shrek's place tonight. So Donkey finished up his cigarette and started making his way to Shrek's swamp.
As Donkey was walking down the road he kept hearing what he thought was as a car but every time he looked back there would be nothing so decided against investigating and kept walking down the street. Donkey eventually reached an intersection that he had to cross so even though it was late and there was no one driving at this time he looked: right left then right again but the first time he looked right he thought he saw a bright red car looking at him but when he looked back they were gone but donkey thought: whoever they were they were beautiful. Donkey was star struck by the cars beauty but knew that it was getting late and he would be very cold if he didn't get to Shrek's house so he continued down the road. Donkey made it to Shrek's house in about 15 minutes and checked to see if Shrek was home. Although Shrek wasn't home Donkey remembered were Shrek left the spare key and unlocked his door. When Donkey got inside he saw the couch and suddenly realized how tired he was and without even having dinner he took of his pants, flopped on the couch, and fell asleep.
