Paint a smile on just right
You'll need it for tonight
Singing and dancing
Laughter and smilingDon't think for a moment you'll be alone
This is not home, don't you dare roam
Stick to the party with a glass in your hand
Who knows what's in the drinkI know it's dark
I know it's crowded
It's loud and you're all alone
Just think one more hour and you'll be at home
Far away and free to roamPush the voices back, they're just background noise
Listen to the music, look at the boys
In only one hour you'll be safe in bedPop a pill, your stomach filled with dread
You're cold and it's dark I know
But In only one hour
Only one hourDon't you dare grab a snack
You're already gaining, someone called you fat
She comes up puts some food in your hand
And watches you consumeKeep the vomit down, this isn't the place
Don't let anyone know you're a disgrace
The pit in your stomach starts to grow
Only a hour
Only a hourBack, back, back to your room
You're safe in your bed
Stuck in your head
Pop a pill, full of regret
You'll be okay in the morning
Okay in the morning
