"Do I need to bring anything?" I asked Addy as I checked my overnight bag, making sure that I had everything. It's not like it mattered much anyways since I could literally run back to my house if I did in fact forget anything; but I didn't like running. Or my house.

"Did your Dad go on his weekly snack run yet?" She asked, her voice full of hope as the words came out of her mouth.

I chuckled and rolled my eyes, "You know my family too well." With that, I hung up the phone and zipped up the bag.

When Adelyn asked me to come over to her house for a sleepover, hesitant couldn't even begin to describe how I was feeling. I did however need to make it up to her since I had been avoiding her house like it was the plague for about a month now. Ever since my incident with Archer at the restaurant, I had triplet talk time, and Helen, Calum, and I came to the conclusion that Archer was in fact; messing with me. Keep in mind that this was all after a few violent threats from Calum after he had heard what Archer did, and said to me.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Helen mumbled through a handful of popcorn as I reached the kitchen, rummaging through the cabinets for Dad's 'hidden' snacks. My mom always keep whole grain and healthy stuff at our house because she says that we'll all die of a heart attack if we don't eat right, so when Dad goes on his weekly snack run, he hides the food from Mom. Or tries to that is.

I smiled when I found a bag of Ruffles and some Sour Patch Kids, throwing them into my bag and heading towards the door. "I can only avoid Archer for so long. Addy is my best friend after all. Wish me luck." I called back to her, waving at Hunter who was seated next to her on the couch before leaving the house and closing the door behind me.

I couldn't help but chuckle when I noticed Calum making out with a random girl in the SUV currently parked in our driveway, and thanked Addy for saving me from strange 'noises' coming from his bedroom later tonight.

I pressed the doorbell on Addy's house, and couldn't say I was surprised when a very tired, very shirtless Archer answered it. His sweats hung low on his waist, revealing those lines that someone told me the proper name for before and I just didn't listen to. I instantly reverted my eyes back to his to see a tired smirk. "Is there something you'd like?" He asked. I gave him a fake, sugary smile before brushing past him without a word and making my way over to Addy who was sitting on the kitchen counter.

"Hey best friend." She greeted as I entered the room, placing my bag on the counter next to her.

"Hola amigo." I replied with a chuckle, taking the snacks out of my bag and handing them to Addy who had a bright, toothy grin plastered onto her face.

"Bless the day you're Dad found a way to hide these from your mother!" She praised, holding the chip bag above her head and kissing it lovingly.

"Tell me about it. There's only so much salmon and celery a girl can take." I groaned, grabbing the chip bag from her and skipping towards her living room where Archer was already seated. I instantly grabbed the remote from his hand and changed the channel to their movie output.

"What the hell?" He began to yell, but instead it came out as a raspy groan that made my stomach tie in a knot. "Not that I'm not pleased that you're taking my stick in your hand." He winked making me scrunch my nose in disgust, "But what exactly do you think you're doing?" He questioned.

How the heck was this the guy who graduated medical school at nineteen? "We're watching a movie." I stated plainly, hoping he could sense how bothered I was by his presence. He gave me a curious stare for a second, a flash of something lighting up his eyes before quickly disappearing back to their tired grey colour.
